There's a large chestnut tree in the garden, and I assume that's what inspired the restaurant's name. Can't say I paid much attention to the inside, but the garden is wonderfully relaxing. Great place to grab a bite to eat, or just enjoy a few drinks.

Wir waren zu dritt und haben mehrere Tapasschälchen, die alle durchweg zu empfehlen sind. Einer von uns hatte als Hauptspeise die Jakobsmuscheln, die auf den Punkt gebraten und mit sehr leckeren Beilagen serviert wurde.Der Umbau des Restaurants durch die neuen Besitzer ist ein Highlight und gibt dem gemütlichen Ambiente einen stilvollen Touch.Der Service ist freundlich und sehr kompetent.Fazit: Wer gerne frischen und super zubereiteten Fisch mag, ist hier genau richtig. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen

Haben diverse Spanier ausprobiert, fand alle nicht so toll. Diese Tapasbar hat unseren Geschmack total getroffen. War alles wirklich lecker, der Wein schmeckte und sogar der Espressso war prima, gab nix zu meckern. Ein sehr netter und aufmerksamer Service. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Abend.

Bei schönem Wetter draussen zu sitzen und die wunderbaren griechischen Gerichte zu geniessen ist wie Urlaub. Sehr netter Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Gerne immer wieder

This Greek restaurant has a great starter mix plate! If you visit this place you have to try it!+ easy to park+ especially bifteki is a great main dish+ large Biergarten and it's nice to sit outside+ very friendly staff- only 3 Greek main dishes on the menu- why do they serve all their Greek dishes with French fries?

I was told this restaurant had amazing food. They did not disappoint there, but they placed me outside and did not return to the table after they gave me my Lasagna. I waited 35 minutes, but they did not come out to offer dessert or more drinks. I created a google translate message (I cannot speak German) which asked for the bill and that I was waiting 35 mins outside. She was very prompt with the bill and I was on my way. There was no apology about their behaviour. I would say if you are not a local, sit inside the restaurant, regardless of the noise.

Location: nice terrace, clean, calm, view on the golf course, a lot of sun shades.Food: we were surprised that the owner was Indian as we expected an Italian restaurant. In fact, the menu consists of pasta, Schnitzel and two Indian dishes. As the owners are Indian, we went for the Indian dishes, of course! Chicken Tikka Masala and a Lamb curry. And both curries were delicious, perfectly cooked and also nicely presented: a kind of fried naan bread role which was more like a cookie and some strips of fresh garlic. Service: friendly, German skills could be improved a littleAll in all, perfectly cooked food, not sophisticated though, on a quaint terrace.

After all the favorable reviews and the proximity to where I stayed, we just had to try this restaurant.We sat in the outside area which reminded of a traditional "Kneipe" which are found all over Sachsenhausen and Bornheim.Our appetizers of Octopus Salad and Crispy Calamari Salad were good, the entrees were not that memorable. My pork was overdone and dry.Service was acceptable.Parking was absolutely atrocious. It took a very long time of circling until we finally found a place to park.Dear exsea, thank you for your review. Unfortunately Seckbach is known for the parking Problem. Our Restaurant used to be a traditional german "Kneipe" and it is a protected house from the City of Frankfurt am Main. This is why it still recalls the tradition. I am sorry for the pork meet. normally as meet quality it is a little bit dry but i would be more than happy if you show again in our restaurant and have a taste of another piece of meet (of course on the house).Thank you.

I came to this restaurant by personal recommendation. Otherwise I wouldnât have looked for a restaurant in Offenbach while in Frankfurt. Having seen the rating, my expectations were high. However, they were surpassed. The food was brilliant, a traditional substantial core with an exotic surprising touch. Excellent wines for reasonable prices. Service maybe a bit slow, but thatâs easily forgiven in such a friendly atmosphere in the lovely garden which of course was filled to capacity this warm summer evening.
