We had a quick light lunch, because we didn't have much time, but we really liked it. The Prosciutto & Melone was really good, the melon was so tasty, and the ham was absolutely delicious. I had a glass of very good white wine. They have a lot of genuine typical food from Marche and I'm sure I will stop by again next time I'm in Macerata, to try more of this menu!

We needed a place to grab lunch and found this online. We got a nice table outside, the service was friendly and attentive. They brought us a lovely amuse bouche soup that was flavorful. We shared a primi and secondi and both were fabulous. The prices were reasonable.many many thanks, it's a pleasure to have special customer.

We stumbled across Il Cortile while wandering around Macerata on a rainy April Sunday. Wow, what a place! No frills (a real trattoria with no frills and very basic setting), but the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food (typical from the Marche - Macerata area) are outstanding! Prices are really little (Euro 20 or under per person) and portions are huge! Thanks Livia and family, we really hope to come back soon!

Not a bar not even a restaurant. At DiGusto we try to make you feel like home by creating really tasty moments.
Located on one of the smaller piazzas in Macerata, this restaurant was perfect for our needs. Arrived in Macerata without a table reservation and there were 10 of us. Called in at this busy restaurant and they said give us 10 minutes. True to their word a table outside in the beautiful piazza was ready in 10 mins. Lovely position outside. Tables full all around us and a very good atmosphere. Perfect for us. We all wanted pizzas except for my niece who loves sushi. This restaurant seemed to specialise in both so everyone was catered for. The quality of the food was outstanding. The pizzas were crisp and delicious and the sushi fresh. Perfect night taking in the atmosphere of this beautiful city and the delights of the food served here.

Da Rosa is a must for any travellers to Macerata province of Marche region. A small place, tuked down a small Vicolo in the Centro Storico of Macerata, the menu combines historic dishes, wonderful Primis and some incredible meats that include a wide range of game. Before our primi piatti we were served a bouche amuse of carpaccio of smoked pork steak on a bed of raw fennel. Our primis were an ambrosial asparagus risotto and an Antonio Nebbia Lasgagne consisting of melt in you mouth layers of wild mushrooms and meat, topped with cheesy bechamel and black truffles. Our mains were Coniglio e Finocchio and Agnello with Artichoke, we had a platter of roast vegetables (potatoes, carrot with Saffron, Zucchini, Cicoria). All were mouth wateringly wonderful. The coffee came with 2 types of home made biscuits and candied orange rind and dark chocolate. The house white was crisp and fruity and the range of 4 home made breads, another treat.

service is discreet but careful. Food was in season, local (they serve food they produce on site), tasty. The chef combines ingredients in a very creative way

Piccola taverna di campagna sopravvissuta ai tempi moderni. Posto eccezionale
In the countryside outside Macerata, a Portuguese cook and a local lady provide very good food and a warm welcome. The place is very simple, the food is great. We had baccalá appetizers and two different baccalá second courses (the baccalá, salted cod, is one of the specialities of the restaurant), the baccalá mantecato crostini and the baccalá with potatoes cooked in milk were outstanding (a tiny suggestion, if I may.. maybe a little less indulgence on the balsamic and arugula combo... the baccalá with pancetta would have been totally amazing in its simplicity), the housewine correct, the portions good, the bill quite reasonable.

Servizio buono . Conto adeguato al cibo consumato.

We had a mediocre pizza (best thing was 4 Euro cost); but we watched our Italian neighbors all order terrific looking Scampi. Also, the house wine was mediocre (but also cheap).
