Reviews on Mediterranean food in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Lyon has 2,000 years of history imprinted on its streets (yes, the cobblestone kind). Explore this history in Vieux Lyon (one of Europe's most extensive Renaissance neighborhoods) and Lyon's two Roman amphitheatres, which still stage rock concerts today. It's no wonder Lyon is a popular area for travelers, with its dynamic university, first-class shopping, antique markets, vibrant theatre and music festivals, and a range of interesting museums, such as the International Puppet Museum and the Museum of Miniatures and Film Sets. (When we say "interesting," we mean it.)

Just returned from lyon's pool show and wanted to grab quickly a pizza. Italia e score is a very small restaurant close to Foch metro station with only a few tables available. We walked in, ordered a margarita take away and after 10 minutes it was ready! Very good and polite service and very tastypizza. I'm sure the rest of dishes will be tasty. Tables were full and people seemed very happy! Highly recommend it

Great little restaurant. Obviously specialises in pizza but my hubby had the 4 cheese gnocchi, which was delicious, and I had the salmon pasta which was one of the best pasta dishes ive ever had. The caprese salad was very good. Beautiful mozerella and fresh lettice and tomato. Portions are generous. Only disappointment was the pana cotta. It was dried and rubbery on the top like it had been sitting for a long time - the only thing keeping my review away from 'excellent'. The server was lovely. Friendly, with excellent English and very efficient. Well worth a visit.

This was one of the best meals we had while in France. It is a very small place, but the waitress (who appeared to be the owner) was extremely friendly and welcoming. The octopus appetizer was delicious, as was the country terrine. Our plats course was the perfectly cooked chitterling sausage and pork medallion filets. Both were delicious. The sausage was sweet and flavorful and one of the best dishes we had in France. The pork was also very good. We also enjoyed our bottle of Moulin a Vent red wine. We capped off the meal with a fine cheese with raspberry sauce. We had a lovely evening at Café Luna and would highly recommend it.

Restaurant italien
Been there a number of times with friends and family and was never disappointed. It is a smallish restaurant run by 2 friends who are very friendly. They let my son watch closely how they make the pizza and chat with him at the same time explaining what is going on. Salad is always fresh, love their grilled vegetable plate, pizza is also wonderful. Make sure you save space for dessert. Dinner is limited to one or two days a week.

Walk into Epicurius and you are immediately impressed by the ambience, decor and smell of incredible food. The waitress comes over, and you realise the service is of equally high standard. At some point during the meal after chatting to the waitress on and off you realise the restaurant has two staff - the husband is all the chefs, the wife is front of house, sommelier, server and general amazingness. You then are even more impressed. We had emailed ahead of time to book the table and ask could two of our group who were vegetarian be taken into account. We got a sharing tasting menu which was all superb. We were treated so well, with a menu designed to suit the vegetarians as much as the meat eaters. Cannot recommend this place enough. A fairly new restaurant as far as I could make out, with a couple working extremely hard to make it work. You deserve to visit this place and experience it for yourself.

Friends suggested this joint, for a taste of the true Lebanese cuisine!Held by a Lebanese couple - husband handling the kitchen!! - everything listed on menu is boasted as being traditionally prepared with authentic Lebanese ingredients and recipes!A PURE DELIGHT : small mezzes (cold / hot starters & meals) to be chosen from a wide variety!!U get the whole experience!Special thought to the 'hommos' & 'kafta', which go perfectly together! The arayes (raw meat cooked in lebanese bread) is a MUST!!We couldn't get enough, so we basically tried everything!! Never once disappointed by the quality or taste of ALL the dishes served!!It was truly 'AKLE' (delicious in Lebanese).Place is basic and spacious, a small terrace seats abt 10 persons!!The spouse tends to every client, smiling, recommending, ensuring a gratifying experience!Closed on sundays & mondays, if in Lyon, you shouldn't miss it!!!
