I read some reviews and it's hard to believe we are talking about the same place. We asked the fish menu we had a fantastic lunch. The staff were very kind, there was a waiter that we noticed that really wanted to make we enjoy everything. Delicious shrimps. Everything was good. When I come back to Loreto we already know where we're gonna eat.

We stopped on the way home from the IKEA in Ancona. Now, we may have ordered the wrong things, but we were underwhelmed. I had a seafood pasta, Campofillione with shellfish, and my wife had a simple tagliatelle with ragù. Neither were special in any way. We then shared a scaloppina of chicken with porcini. The porcini were good, but the chicken picked up none of the flavor. The best dish we had was a side of greens prepared with garlic.I think the thing to order here is straight seafood. Many around us did that. Or come in the evening and try the pizza.

We visited Il Tiglio in Vita for lunch after visiting the previous restaurant in the mountains. We had the most amazing lunch here, we were so pleased to find that Il Tiglio it's risen like Phoenix from the ashes! Everyone must go if you are in the area, this is Michelin Star (Heston style) food,

Superb primi piatti.... Gnocchetti with pancetta and pistachio... Really very good. Good value meal And good location. Meat was good but perhaps too big a portion - very tasty. The Sorbetto al Caffè, was the low point of an otherwise enjoyable evening

Excellent service, a very good meal at a reasonable price. What more could you want at 30 degrees Celtius in the evening? We were served an excellent plate of pasta, with god wine of he house and a very good second course and vegetables. The service was eally attentive without being excessive.we did not stay at the hotel, so we can'tsay anything about that.Dear guest,Thank you for your positive and useful comment. We are very happy to know that our guests feel confortable and relaxed in our restaurant. Hope to see you also this summer.Kind regards

Lunch at our last day of Pilgrimage at Loreto. Reserved table mid morning, sat down at 13.30, five of us. No one took any orders nor asked us drinks for over 20 minutes. After reaching out for someone, a girl turns up taking orders for only drinks of which other that the two bottles of sparking water needed to check if it were possible to have three glasses of sparkling wine.... disappeared, asked next person who said: best to have two bottles, just in case afterwards we would not get a second bottle immediately....! He poared two miserable glasses of wine and need to got back and open a new bottle to top up both and serve the third!Orders: we asked for two tagliate, rucola e grana and got melanzane, zucchine e patatine fritte! My orecchiette con cozze e patate was a total disgrace: mountain of hard potato chunks, 6! muscles, few badly cooked orecchiette. The Trabucco looked good, our guest ordered it, orecchiette con cime di rapa were decent. One of our antipasti never arrived! Deserts ok.We managed to leave the table at 15.10!First and last time there!

Going to "Alvaro" is always a pleasant experience and a guarantee of having a great dinner.Andrea, the owner, and his sister will make you feel welcomed and will always suggest you good dishes to try. It's nicer in summer as they have a "veranda" so you can dine "Al Fresco" (while in winter you can only eat indoors and the restaurant in itself isn't particularly beautiful). We went there last night and I feel I must write a review to tell you how wonderful this place is. Unfortunately is hidden away, in the middle of a residential area in Loreto, so not in a great position if you visit the city centre and the church (but it is just 5 minutes drive, so it's well worth the visit!). We started with ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach with a lemon and thyme sauce, "gnocchi alla papera" (potato dumplings with a tomato based duck sauce) and tagliatelle with wild boar and porcini mushroom sauce. All three dishes - strictly home made - were in good portions and truly delicious. As a main, you cannot go there and not try their meat! I had a fillet steak with Tropea Onions (some of the onions were soft while others had been fried and sat on top of the steak as a crispy topping) and my husband had a steak (I cannot remember the proper meat cut name, sorry...) with rosemary and Colonnata lard on top. We had crisps - their home made proper stuff! - wine and water and the bill came up to â¬77 - not cheap, but well worthed the two-courses dinner! I sincerely recommend you this restaurant as undoubtedly is the best meat restaurant of the area and perhaps, one of the best in Le Marche!

Lunches and dinners quickly joined snacks with wild games and courtyard animals, mostly cooked with the extraordinary technique that will become the heart of this restaurant: the skewer and the grill. The third generation of Ristorante Andreina began when
Before booking our table for San Valentino, my husband asked if it were possible to have a vegetarian option for me. He was asked if I ate fish and he replied yes. The person who took the booking said it was perfectly ok to book. The menu' was far from perfect and definitely not ok. It actually verged on the ridiculous. I had to remind the waiters 5 times that I didn't eat meat. I had to watch my husband eat his full antipasto and leave mine..The course of 'frutta secca con brodo e polpettine" for my husband, came out to me without the brodo or polpettine. I had to block the waiter from pouring the brodo who first said it had no meat, I asked him to check and it did. I sent the dish back untouched. And I complained. I managed to have a vegetarian first course that was mediocre at best. Then...the worst. My husband had cervo...i was given cheese and salad!!!!! What an insult! A michelin star for cheese and lettuce! Please. I sent it back untouched. To add to this, we had to wait much longer than the other guests, nobody came to speak to us and after all guests had left, we had to stand up and call the waiter over for coffee. We complained to the head waiter - who gave a very weak apology ( and was visibly embarassed) but said nothing to the very stern, tough looking 'cashier' (who I have seen on many an occasions and believe she is the owner). We didn't complain as the 'cashier' was just too unapproachable and we just wanted to leave. â¬90 each is what we would have expected in a restaurant of this level but Chef Recanati...aspettavo di meglio da Lei! Hello Sarah M H,sorry for this drawback that honestly we can't remember so disastrous, on the contrary. We truly apologize. We are not a vegetarian restaurant but we have vegetarian dishes at the carta, always. So we wait for you as soon as possible to let us cuddle you in the best way we know.Best regards,Ristorante Andreina

We went to this restaurant only because I'd noticed good reviews in Tripadvisor, and we weren't disappointed. I booked from England, and I'm glad I did because it meant that we could dine on the outdoor terrace on a warm evening, when otherwise it was fully booked, a good sign. The place was a little difficult to find, being in a quiet suburb rather than in the town centre. We arrived early, to a warm welcome, and appreciated the very abundant fish dishes we were served. The Verdicchio white wine was a perfect accompaniment.
