We're regulars at their bar and have never had a bad experience. They make excellent cocktails, the wines are very good and no complaints about the service. But, we've never eaten there. Today, took my family for Fathers Day and ordered several tapas starters and two different paellas. The tapas were fine, but the paellas were the worst we've ever had. One paella had lamb, chorizo and chicken and its was dry as sand. The rice was burnt and most of it was stuck to the pan. The chicken was inexpensive whole thighs and wings and the skin was fatty and under cooked. Our other paella was mostly seafood and they served the lobster with claws intact but gave us nothing to break the claws. With drinks, wine and tip, our bill came to almost $500 and I ate almost nothing. When I got home, I had a sandwich. I will continue to be a bar customer and love the vibe, but the paella is simply awful and not worth the almost $40 per person they charge.

Tried this place for take out order after reading mostly positive reviews. Please see attached photos of the meals we received. Minced beef was charred beyond recognition. Why would any owner/cook ever allow this to be served to a customer? You think it is acceptable??Beef/lamb was dry and flavorless. Exactly what I would expect from a below average street cart â not from a restaurant that supposedly prides itself on good, authentic greek food.

Two couples for restaurant week. Think they'd put their best foot forward. Here on Thursday night. We all took the three course menu. Best appy - not available tonight. Got Caesar salad - romaine with nothing special dressing. Main course - same response -best dish not available. I had Amatriciana with Sausage. sauce was ok but pasta was reheated, had the texture of kraft mac and cheese. None of us were impressed with the food. Only 7 tables occupied and it was still a bit loud. Can't imagine what a full house would be like. Other reviews rave about the food but what we all had was nothing special at all. Plenty of Italian choices in town. Probably won't be back.

We went to San Remo on New Yearâs Eve with a party of eight. We had a reservation and they were ready for us. The food was very good and service nice. However, our appetizers took 45 minutes to appear and our main courses over two hours. At that, one of them was wrong and she had to wait another 15 minutes for her dish, which was undercooked. I do not know if they were down a line chef or two, or what the issue was, but they need to work on expediting the meals.Dear John, I'm glad you enjoyed the food and service! I apologize for the wait time, we had a large influx of guests at the time you were seated - this may have been the reason for your wait situation as for this I apologize. I hope that this does not deter you from coming back, and perhaps trying something new on our menu. Thank you for your review and we hope to see you back again soon!

The meats in the mixed grill were very flavorful. It was served with nicely grilled vegetables and a mixture of 2 colors of rice. The baklawa fingers were hard, not flaky, and they didn't have enough syrup. We had to ask for pita bread and then asked for another piece for which we were charged extra. There was a small portion of tahini sauce that was included, but we were charged extra for extra sauce.

We first ordered takeout for my husbandâs Greek family- pork skewers and feta triangles especially delicious! Then I went back with my daughter for lunch. Portion sizes were very generous. They even gave her a free pork skewer bc they didnât realize she really wanted to eat hers on the skewer (sheâs 4yrs old) service was very good, but there were only two other tables at the time. Salads were fresh and yummy. My omelet was delicious. Hint: if ordering takeout item with phyllo dough, I suggest heating it up yourself at home! It gets soggy in takeout wrapper and tastes much better fresh out of the oven!
