Isabelle and Thierry Bagnis invite you to savour the taste of real family Provencal cuisine from the Comté de Nice, served in a peaceful cottage with a country inn feel, located high above the city on Gairaut Hill, where the air is clear and the prices ar
Great village restaurant, sits comfortable between fine dining and pub grub. Feels like family cooking, which is a good thing. It has a nice atmosphere, is air conditioned and the service is friendly. Parking is on the road outside which does not present much of an issue apart from those who canât wait 10 seconds!A nice restaurant with great is service and good honest food. A nice place to go.

Dashing home with work to do and nothing in the fridge, I spy the ardoise outside the Fleur de Thym: Fricassée de pintade 11â¬. My car swings into the car park of its on volition, I'm swiftly seated and within 10 minutes I have an excellent glass of red and a generous plate of DELICIOUS guinea fowl, wonderful sauce and delicate pillows of gnocchi, piping hot. Heaven. Bravo.
Stopped here whilst on a lovely drive through the very pretty mountain area north of Nice.Small car park behind the restaurant or on the street, out front. It was a very welcome stop on a hot day and when we were miles from anywhere else supplying food/drink!Tables inside or out.The latter are sat in a small square with a couple of mature olive trees, next to the road but the traffic is so infrequent, it isn't a problem at all.All quite rustic (but typically French) and the toilet was certainly primitive to say the least!Service very good (family run).Food excellent - I had a lovely platter of local cheeses with fresh crusty bread and my wife a very nice green salad. Beer and coffee spot on.Used a lot by locals, which is always a good sign.No complaints at all and very good value.Small shop next door, also run by the family.

A traditional french restauarant aided by two tremendous hosts !â¦. Isabelle and Phillipe always makes us very welcome and our visit to Berre would simply be incomplete without sitting down to some local , well prepared traditional french food. Sunday lunch is simply the best !â¦.The entire family are well catered for and lunch lasts as long as you want . Peter E

Have visited this restaurant now for the third time and always very happy having been there. In summer/autumn there is a nice covered terrace to have lunch. The menu is presented by the chef and there is no choice, so take it or leave it, but I recommend strongly to take it ;-)Always part of the menu are "pelotons", sort of ravioli without dough, menu starts with a very good pissaladière sort of onion cake, followed by the pelotons, a main course with meat (this day an extraordinary juicy saddle of rabbit in an excellent olive-flavored sauce, followed by a very tasty dessert. (See photos) Menu is 26⬠actually, September 2013.Nearby you can make beautiful hikes, but it ascends steeply :-)Go there when you are in or around Nice, definitely worth a visit!

La Mangiuca is in the centre of the small town Le Broc. It is located inside a medieval building with very rustic decor. Food is certainly homemade and of high quality, Try the tatare - raw meat with fantastic taste. The very friendly waiter dressed in a Vollbeat t-shirt does his very best to serve the guests. This restaurant is worth the tricky drive up the mountains to e Broc.

Hello The restaurant will be closed from 13 October to 7 November Reopening on November 8 See you Soon
Very family friendly, the pizza very nice and made in the minute (as expected). Water free of charge and the glass of wine affordable (2,5â¬). The tiramisu is very tasty with an own recipe and the coffee selection also nice and well roasted. I recommend this place !

This is one of the few restaurants in Carros, and the only one that considers itself a fine-dining experience. My family and I came to celebrate an anniversary, expecting better food and better service than the usual fare. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. The service was uninspiring, they had ran out of beer (by 730pm!) but the key issue were the tiny portion sizes of the mains. It baffles me that restaurants, especially good ones, still get this wrong. Customers should never go home hungry, and frankly, the marginal cost of offering a normal or even generous portion is trivial when your'e charging 25-30 euros a plate. On the positive, the menu was good, the food was very nice and well presented - just not nearly enough!
