Only found out about this restaurant by accident, so decided to try it. I've been to the sister restaurant, Tasca Dali, so, despite some negative reviews, I thought I'd try it as it is run by the same management so it must have the same standard. Tasca Dali has just won the title of best Spanish restaurant in West Midlands, so it must be doing something right! The management and staff were so friendly, polite and informative that I do not understand the very low ratings. Yes there were a couple of hiccups, (one wrong drink due to a new waitress, and the starters taking a little longer than normal), but the quality of the food, (with apologies and no excuses for the mishaps), made up for any slight hiccups.Nothing was too much trouble. Even paella, (which they say on their website needs 24 hours notice), was available which we took advantage of.We had starters off the tapas menu, (bread with alioli, black pudding and calamari), with the oriental calamari the stand out dish. It sounds like an odd combination, but whoever thought of it is inspired as it takes calamari to a completely new level, and not so much oriental but a slight spicy kick. The chicken paella was so moist and tender, with just enough crunch without being burnt. The best outside of Spain. I'll definitely try the seafood paella next time.In summary, I do not know what the negative review expect, but I absolutely had a great evening with staff that could not be more polite and attentive.

Our first time eating here and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, we had 3 courses and each course was excellent. My husband loves seafood and can be quite particular over it, but he said it was cooked to perfection. The chocolate brownie that I had was gluten-free and I was wondering what to expect (I don't tend to eat gluten-free food), but it was really rich and tasty. The service was great, the staff were really friendly and attentive, our food came out quickly, but you could tell it was freshly cooked. The atmosphere was good, the décor and interior are nice. We really enjoyed our meal here and have already booked to go back again. Whilst we went as a couple, we have booked for a family occasion as it is suitable for both.

Went for lunch and wasnât acknowledged upon entrance nor at our table until going up to the till to ask for someone to take our order. Waited an hour for our food and was ignored by the waitresses when trying to get their attention. Food was delicious but we wonât be returning after the poor service.

myself, my husband and 4 friends booked a table at Gusto to celebrate the 50th birthday of one of the group. We'd eaten there before and always had a lovely meal with great service. Sadly on this evening, this wasn't going to be the case...When we arrived we got a warm welcome and the drinks we ordered arrived quickly. we were asked a few times if we wanted to order but weren't ready. when we were ready we had to ask twice if we could orderthe starters arrived after only a short while and we all agreed they were very tasty. so all good there. But it all started to do downhill with the mains...Food arrived and mine and another person's steaks were only a little warm. not good. when paying around £25 for your main you want it at least to be hot!We called the waiter over and explained, the food was quickly taken away and we got an apology. we then waited....and waited... and waited. the rest of our group were eating as slowly as possible but they did eventually finish. During this time we complained to a waiter how long it was taking for the 2 dishes to be redone. ( we thought they'd perhaps be prioritised to a degree considering the rest of the table had their food)we then spoke to a gentleman who must have been the manager. He apologised and offered us a discount on the food which we accepted but the main focus was getting our food. He came back and said it was just coming out. we then waited another 10 mins for it to arrive!my friend's steak was perfect she said but mine was very rare. I ordered medium rare. as I didn't want to wait any longer for my meal I ate it. but didn't enjoy it as I don't like my steak too rare. After the meal, our plates weren't taken and we also weren't offered dessert. Luckily we had some cupcakes with we bought for our friend for her birthday so we had one of those each for pudding!we asked for the bill 3 times and when it came they had kindly only charged us for drinks, no food. which was a bigger discount than we expected. However, it didn't deflect from the fact our evening hadn't been good. Observing what was going on that night, we could see the waiting staff dashing around, working very very hard. We could see dishes being put out by the kitchen and not being taken. so we concluded, simple case of too many customers and not enough staff to deliver the high service and quality level you'd expect. we all agreed we'd go to Gusto again but sorry Gusto, we WON'T be back on a Saturday night again!!Hi, thanks for the review. We've read this quite thoroughly, and we're always grateful for feedback. We know where we went wrong, and we'll use this to improve. We know you'll be back again, and as such we'll see you again soon. Many ThanksGusto Leamington Spa

Leamington Spa's best wine bar and bistro! At Tartine you can enjoy Breakfast, lunch, dinner, or even just wine and cheeses. Our menu features cuisine from across Europe including classics like Moules Mariniere, along with some great platters to share. We
Wonderfully accomodated 22 of us celebrating 4 grads and families. It was fab. Preordered mixed tapas platters kept arriving and surpised if we left anything...plenty of variety, hot and cold, with constant supply of fresh baked breads...£18 a head was great value as were great choices if cocktails and wines. The girls are fabulous, friendly and efficient coping with us!! Would love to pop back just for a "quieter" experience. Highly recommend.

A little bit about us... Since its opening in May 2008, lovers of Italian food have made La Coppola the place to enjoy the best Italy can offer the discerning palate. Head Chef Jhun Mendoza and his team, conjure up dishes using only the finest and freshes
That place is really special, the best restaurant in Leamington I could say. Food there is really really tasty and the stuff super friendly! Whatâs more itâs beautiful inside. The only thing you could change is just only the sailor suit of one of the waiters, it looks a little too pompous in my opinion.

My friend and I visited here based on the reviews on here and on Google. We were not disappointed. We both ate from set menu 1, shared meze platter to start, mixed grill main and the shared dessert plateThe food was so good. The meat on the main course was cooked to perfection and so tender, juicy and tasty. The homemade chips, which are actually wedges with a sprinkle of paprika are out of this world. Both of us were stuffed but when the dessert plate arrived we could not resist. 2 different ice creams, baklava and another dessert with some candyfloss. Yes candy floss (I know but don't knock it until you've tried it, it works). In top of the amazing food, the service was excellent and they found out it was my birthday and the manager came over and gave us complimentary drinks for us both. Lovely setting, great vibe, lovely staff and outstanding food. You won't be disappointed

We are a Mediterranean Bar, Lounge and Restaurant situated in the Heart of Leamington Spa, offering you Authentic Stuzzichini and sharing plates, or a wide range of choices on our a la Carte Menu, Authentic hand stretched Pizza, Italian Prepared Risotto a
Food excellent all very fresh, cooked and presented superbly. The service was excellent, with very friendly with an appropriate awareness to privacy. I look forward to going again very soon. The only slight observation is that the tables for two could do with being slightly larger in order to hold more of the delicious food and drinks.
