La Pigeot is always good, having been many times, I am always impressed by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Portions are colossal and itâs comparatively inexpensive. If youâre in the area this is definitely worth going to, itâs totally different to the everything else in Valbonne which is mostly reheated from frozen tourist garbage, my comparison the nourishment at La Pigeot (an amusing name), is fresh, tastey and bountiful. A big thumbs up from a regular.

fully renovated restaurant, fully homemade kitchen. PIZZAS and meat over a wood fire. fresh fries, lasagna, salads... change of owners since June 2018
We found this place purely by chance whilst wandering around the cobbles streets after our chosen restaurant was fully booked. It was so good we went back several nights later! We were a party of 8, we were seated quickly on both occasions (at the same table-which the children loved!) and all our food, on both visits, was delicious. We sampled lasagne, pizzas, carbonara, and the chicken curry-which was a particular favourite! The service was excellent, we couldnât fault it and the food was delicious. Hello, we are happy to have pleased you during your visit in our restaurant! We do our utmost so that you crossed a good moment. See you very soon Stéphane

This was a quaint place, delicious food and great service. We were greeted by the staff when we walked in and everyone was very kind, the atmosphere was very happy. I ordered a fish plate that was cooked in paper with rice and veggies. My husband ordered the veal which was cooked with potatoes. Both were delicious and the dessert was as well.

We had dinner and several lunches at Le Leck during our visit with fiends. Lovely fresh and delicious food prepared and served by Kevin. We couldn't wish for a nicer restaurant. The Lebaneese cuisine is fantastic, and the fillet steak was probably the best I have had. Thanks Kevin.

With its delightful setting, friendly, personal service, tempting seasonal menu & lunch, evening & weekend formulas, the Clos Des Pins will ensure a memorable dining experience with exceptional value-for-money prices.
We arrived late afternoon in Grasse, and all our favourite restaurants, especially the more famous ones, were fully booked. Le Clos des Pins happened to have room (lots of, in fact). Now we understand why: The ambience is quite gloomy. The food is extremely average, certain dishes are downright mediocre. Even the cheese platter lacks diversit - no Roquefort at Roquefort! Service is polite but slow. Prices are low, but lots of customers would rather pay a bit more for better food.

We recently enjoyed a beautiful evening in the charming courtyard at L'Ecole des FIlles. Everything was wonderful from the amuse-bouches, to the mignardises with coffee. The sea bass, in particular, was heavenly. We were advised to get there early and were glad we did: the place was full by 8pm. The four of us enjoyed everything: the food, the setting, the professionalism of the waiters, all spot-on. Looking forward to going back!

Le Donjon is a small family-run restaurant in the picturesque Provençal village Le Bar sur Loup approx 35 min from Nice, on the hillside between St. Paul de Vence and Grasse. The restaurant is located in a protected building from the 11th century right in
Visited good friends 17th of May who invited us to Bistro Le Donjon - Arrived late, but still received the best food, wine and service.

Petit restaurant cosy niché au coeur du village classé de valbonne. Une cuisine raffinée cuisinée avec des produits frais. Changement de la carte chaque mois. Menu retour du marché chaque jour. Les chiens ne sont pas acceptés.
If you're a foodie, look no further. This place is a hidden gem for those-in-the-know. Food is very high quality and beautifully presented. Quality/price ratio is high on their 45 Euro prixe fixe (lobster salad was huge with lots of lobster. The lamb prepared two ways was a stunner.)The chef's wife is very knowledgable and offers a warm, caring welcome. Be sure to reserve as it's tiny. In good weather ask for one of the coveted spots outside. Wine list is small but expertly crafted.

Having read the mostly positive reviews for this restaurant, we were looking forward to discovering it. The first surprise was the restaurant itself! It looked small and dingy from the outside and not much better within. Basically, the setting and decor are awful. The service was decent, the waiter was polite but responded in monosyllables. On the plus side, the meal was outstanding and worthy of any high end French dining establishment. So, to sum up, a mixed bag. A great eatery but I wouldn't go there for a celebratory occasion as the setting is not on par with the food.

We loved our local restaurant whilst staying in le Rouret. Without a doubt the restaurant is always busy and has limited nights during the week. The asparagus dish with fresh egg mayonnaise and a choice of miniature lettuces was beyond fabulous! Great atmosphere and the best in the area .
