We have visited The Sun Cafe recently, for lunch, they have a varied menu to suit all tastes , the atmosphere is good and there is good accessibility for prams and also for disabled . The service is great as is the food , the food presentation is excellent, the food quality and taste is also excellent . If you are looking for a quality establishment to eat ! , then this is it .

Visited this restaurant on recommendation and was not disappointed. On arrival we were taken straight to our table by a very nice man with a Liverpudlian accent (sorry didnât get your name) the restaurant is decorated in a very typical Spanish style without being over done.We ordered 2 tapas plates each, they were brought to us individually as they were prepared which I like and the quality of the food was excellent and the portions really large (we couldnât finish it all).Drinks are also well priced.Really enjoyed our meal and will visit again soon with my vegetarian daughter as they had a good selection of veggie tapas.This is a great addition to Lancasterâs dining options.

We had a warm greeting and the table was ready when we arrived. The menu catered well for vegetarians and I couldn't resist a starter of courgette fritters and they were delicious. I followed this with hallumi kebabs, Greek potatoes and salad. What a treat! I enjoyed it all. After a break I found room for a lemon cream desert. Wonderful. The whole experience was great. Based on the recommendation of someone local, we decided to try somewhere new in Lancaster.The interior, tables, chairs, floor was immaculately clean and tidy, toilet facilities were also clean (usually a good way to judge the cleanliness of the kitchen/restaurant in general).The food; We ordered a mixed platter for two, Kofte, Lamb, Chicken Wings, beef, plus some other things I can't remember, seasoned with spices.The taste was well above my expectations, the ingredients seemed to be very high quality, but unfortunately was too much for us both and couldn't finish it despite our best efforts.A quick glance on one of the other tables (how rude), I saw that the salads there looked exceptional, so perhaps one to try on our next visit there.The service was also attentive, despite the waitress being on her own, we were served quickly and pleasantly.Perhaps unfair, the only negative in my mind was that they were not licensed for alcohol, it would have been good to accompany the food with a beer, hence 4 out of 5.
