Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Laganas. Laganas (Greek: Λαγανάς) is a village and a former municipality on the island of Zakynthos, Ionian Islands, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Zakynthos, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit Laganas covers the southernmost part of Zakynthos. Its municipal seat was the town of Pantokratoras (pop. 925 in 2011). The municipal unit of Laganas has a land area of 74.104 km². Its largest towns are Mouzaki (pop. 1,702), Lithakia (pop. 1,307), Pantokratoras, Kalamaki (pop. 890), Laganas (pop. 729), and Keri (pop. 469). The central and eastern part of the municipal unit are flat, but there are hills up to 450 m elevation in the west. The Zakynthos International Airport lies in the eastern part of the municipal unit, near Kalamaki. The beach village Laganas, part of the community of Pantokratoras, is on the southeastern coast. A large part of Laganas is a national park, established for the protection of turtles.

Disappointed we only went here on our last night. Best meal of the week by far. Set in beautiful gardens and friendly staff. Steaks were absolutely top notch and reasonably priced. Got complimentary bread and dips then complimentary bruschetta before our meal even arrived. Spring rolls as our starter which were some of the best we've ever tasted. Steaks with sauces for our main which were again some of the best we have had,perfectly cooked. Then given complimentary cocktail and a small panna cotta which was beautiful but none of us had room to eat

Friendly, great food, lovely drinks, good prices. We've been for breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner, late night drink.... all fab. Everything is made to order and they are more than happy to change things to your taste. Would highly recommend! Thank you!

Although we were staying all inclusive we fancied a good evening meal out and Panos didnât disappoint Very good staff especially the lovely and heavily pregnant konstantina The food was tasty, well cooked, large portions and a good priceWill definitely return if we ever go back to Laganas

The food & service is very, very good. Maybe the best restaurant in Laganas and not only. We ordered different plates, everything was on the top. More food than you can eat. The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff is always very nice and amabile. Highly recommended.

The manager was so great and incredible good service. The food was fresh and if you visit Laganas you have to eat here. The food was so tasty and fresh fish, tasty food and really good prices , i will definitely recommend this restaurant.

Next door to the Majestic Spa Hotel. Lovely place with really friendly staff. Emilio the man that greets you at the door is really helpful and has really good English. It has really good food especially the full English breakfast and good evening meals and at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Food here was stunning. I'm aware that the owners have another restaurant in Zante town and this was very different to other food in Alykanas. You can tell how much thought has gone into making their menu a little bit different from everyone else's in the resort. As far as the food itself goes, up there with the best I've ever eaten in Zakynthos. Also I absolutely love the decor and the mood music they play. Makes it stand out from every other restaurant around. It's really impressive.The only downsides would be that the service was a little bit on the slow side, particularly given that there was only one other table occupied when we were there. Also, it's significantly more expensive than pretty much any other restaurant in the resort. â¬52 for two starters, two mains, a bottle of house white and a large bottle of water.We'd certainly visit again as the food is beautiful, but think the price may put people off.
