Delightfully cosy restaurant serving steaming tagine pots and cous cous dishes. Portions were ridiculously generous - the house cous ous had enough grilled meat to serve two. A well ranged wine list, including African choices. Delicious mini pasties platter choice for dessert with real north African coffee or fresh mint tea.

The plat du jour (beef tajine for us) was great value, and the couscous berbere featured a great selection of various grilled meats to accompany the couscous Pretty sure we were the only tourists there that day - worth the effort to find this place

Yesterday after finishing our shopping in Troyes (gave a review on it), we found that this restaurant is well noted so we decided to stop by. The service was good with a smile. I took"Brick a l'Åuf" (1st picture) a Moroccan starter with egg, and it was excellent "Vegetable Couscous" (2nd picture) and it was also very goodEverything seems homemade and well done. It's very clean (even the WC has a new clean technology to test :))Merguez were very good just ask them to be well done ;)I recommend this restaurant.

Cold and windy, the ideal weather for a warm Couscous! My partner went for the Couscous with chicken. While ordering, the waiter asked which kind of meat was preferred, white meat or rather the legs of the chicken which was really attentive! I went for the rather traditional Couscous Royal with merguez, chicken and lamb shank. The "soup" had a great taste and was full of vegetables. During the meal, the waiter came and ask how everything was going and also proposed to bring additional "soup" and couscous, however we refused as we still had plenty left, even at the end.Excellent "winter food"

We were looking for somewhere to eat in Troyes during an overnight stopover on the way to Calais. That we ate at Le Libanais is totally down to Tripadvisor reviews. It was fully booked for the Saturday night so had to eat early, around 6.30pm.The owner is a real character, very genial and helpful. We had the Mezze option. All dishes were delicious and very well cooked. It started to fill up half way through our meal and it seems a popular place with locals and tourists. Book if you want to eat here!!

Whilst by no means a fancy joint, the greeting is warm, the service prompt and the food honest which was all the more welcome as Troyes has lost a couple of our preferred restaurants of late (one seafood, the other a brasserie). As we wanted a quick meal we stuck to pizzas which were fine, accompanied by a couple of glasses of wine, and were well fed inside the hour. Downstairs is more attractive than in the dining room above which is a little more spartan.

We booked a table for 6 for a Saturday evening meal, following recommendations from Trip Advisor. We were staying over for one night in Troyes. It was obvious that the staff couldnât really cope with the fact that they were busy. The food was very mediocre, nothing to write home about. Pizzas were average. Service was slow and not friendly, as the previous recommendations had suggested. Trying to get a waitressâ attention to order more drinks was very difficult. We only had one course and were then told that they had no internet and we would have to get cash out of the machine down the road. A word of warning...the bill wasnât itemised, so if you do have the misfortune of eating here, make sure you add it up yourself!Hello saddened for your dissatisfaction it is true that you came the 1st opening day further to our moving we were seen customers' large number where from your wait(expectation) and as regards your regulation(payment) our terminal was not connected(bound) with Internet (foreign bank card only) In spite of our lack of organization we made every effort to satisfy our customers we did not understand your attitudes to throw(launch) the bill(ticket) on the bar.sur it good continuation.
