we discovered this taverna in our last week and what a place, the service and food were first class and exceptionally reasonable priced. We were always guaranteed a warm welcome. Their kleftico was to die for, my partner loved their grilled octopus. Certainly recommend it to all.

Traditional Greek taverna in Ialisos village next to Rhodes town with homemade mezedes and variety of wines and ouzo!
I am in town visiting my Greek family when my cousin and his wife suggested that we go here for dinner. Wow, what a really nice treat. There were so many good things on the menu we figured the best thing to do was to do a Mezze-style dinner and have a little bit of everything. We had octopus, keftedes (spiced Greek meatballs) dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), some kind of pork with a lemon sauce, mushrooms, saginake (Greek cheese), and some kind of spicy cheese dip. Of course we washed it down with Retsina wine. The food was very tasty and being that I am of Greek sent I say this with a little bit of background on the subject. In the states I typically donât go out any Greek food because I am disappointed and I want really good Greek food my mother and sister can make it much better than any restaurant I go to. However this restaurant was a great place to sample Local, fresh fare. Our service was very personable and attentive. I certainly give this place two thumbs up.

We stumbled upon this place when visiting the church, it's right next to the clock tower. Beautiful at night. We enjoyed our food so much we revisited before leaving Rhodes, the staff seemed to recognise us This is a family run restaurant and everyone is eager to please, making the service and food excellent. We enjoyed a few dishes here including mousaka, salad's and chicken dishes. All were great portions and great value. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area, booking is advisable as there's very limited space and the locals eat here alot!

Four of us ate here this evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meals which included chicken, lamb, chocolate soufflé and other tasty dishes. The restaurant is well decorated with a lovely grapefruit tree growing in the middle. All very clean and tidy. Staff welcoming and pleasant ambiance.

My boyfriend and I visited Pegasus on the last night of our holiday, weâd heard & read really good reviews so thought it would be a nice end to our trip. Unfortunately it didnât live up to expectations at all. We had the pita/bread and Tzatziki as a starter, which was pretty mediocre and a little bit weird as we were served thick slices of brown bread which seemed as though it had been defrosted (cold and hard in the middle but lukewarm on the outside). For mains my boyfriend ordered a burger which he enjoyed, but I made the mistake of ordering the pork souvlaki. When my meal first came out I cut into the pork and it was quite pink on the inside. I very politely told this to the waitress who was very sympathetic - to be fair- and asked if Iâd like it re-cooked, to which I accepted. The second time it came out, I cut into a larger piece and - as per the attached photo - it was basically still breathing on my plate. I was pretty disappointed about this, considering it had already been âre-cookedâ , it put me off the rest of my meal and I just wanted to pay and leave. We also had some cocktails - upon recommendation - but these werenât particularly enjoyable either & (Im assuming) the older man that owns it , put on a pretty embarrassing display. Overall our experience wasnât good and we both left feeling as though we shouldâve picked somewhere else to eat. My advice to anyone visiting - especially if with children - is to double check your food is cooked, or pick somewhere else.

Yiannis grill house was founded in 1999 in the area of Kremasti in Rhodes island. Behind the traditional library building, at the historic square you can enjoy unique flavors that marry the traditional taverna with grilled cuisine. John with his sons Mano
We have visited many food establishments around the whole of the island and I can say this is the best place to eat as the quality of food is exceptional and the prices are so good. A fantastic well run family establishment whereby the whole family work hard all year to maintain the highest standards of food which includes home grown vegetables, olives and olive oil.If I could rate my clients i would give you 10 stars ! Thank you my friend for the review. So enjoyable sitting with you and your wife after a long day of work and drinking with you!

So we ventured in here after a recommendation from someone in the hotel. we were not disappointed, and returned quite a few times. This is typical greek food (Grill) and it was very nice indeed, all cooked on a open fire, with attentive friendly staff, The portions are amazing, I still can't fathom how the greeks can eat so much. The food is extremely tasty and you are givin time to enjoy. The location is not the best as its close to the main road but sit towards the back of the taverna and you will be fine. Enjoy it all....

Villa Di Mare is located right on the sea of Ixian bay. It was the first hotel in Rhodes established in 1925. A recent renovation offers again, and in the best way, the glamour of the past. The resort that became a must see location for everyone that visi
My family and I came here for lunch as it was highly rated on TripAdvisor. From booking to finishing our meal the service was excellent. We were not rushed, we had pre informed the restaurant of our dietary requirements and they had GF bread available for my mum and they made a point of mentioning what might be suitable when ordering. We all ordered seafood as our mains, and it was incredible food. 3 of our group had lobster and they came out to show each lobster before being cooked. My dad and I shared a sea bass, which was filleted and deboned in front of us. My sister had a dozen oysters, which whe said was the best lunch shed ever had. It was incredible! We had s table out on the terrace next to the sea. It was perfect! Thank you!

Alter Ego opened its doors for the first time in 2017 and it is the only bar-club restaurant in the heart of the Old Town of Rhodes the city centre. With impressive cocktails both visually and tastefully. We have a continuously evolving menu in the Medite
We liked the ambience and food with extremely imaginative starters and main courses but sub standard desserts.Sadly the service was extremely poor. They were not full on our dinner visit and there were five guys serving but spending most of their time chatting at the bar area without watching what the diners were doing leading to very slow service overall. Our waiter had no idea what the wines on the list were (we are wine industry people who like to try things out but nearly all the wines listed were only in Greek) and when our wine came the wine bucket was placed some way from our table making it very difficult to pour ourselves. This is not good enough for what professes to be one of the better restaurants in Rhodes. There are several better offerings in Rhodes and Alter Ego needs to lift its game somewhat not to slip well down the listings.
