I was invited for lunch after a meeting near byThe first immersion is very good clean place and looked new. Cozy not big The staff were nice and welcoming the service level was very good The food presentation with a touch of tasteThe food was very good especially the fish. Also the mushroom spaghetti I'm not a pizza man but it was good one It has a home taste We liked it

Wir waren hier zu viert beim Essen.Die BegrüÃung war sehr freundlich, und der reservierte Tisch auch wirklich schön gelegen.Die besten Voraussetzungen für einen tollen Abend.Der Vorspeisensalat war sehr groà und auch wirklich sehr lecker.Wir hatten als Hauptspeisen das Rib-Eye-Steak, ein T-Bone-Steak, und zweimal das Hüftsteak.Leider ist es offensichtlich nicht mehr üblich Telefon zu hören, was dazu führt dass die Speisen sehr schnell kalt werden.Darüber hinaus sollte es eigentlich möglich sein wenn man in einem Steakhouse ein Steak medium bestellt dass dies auch so ist.Bis auf das T-Bone-Steak, das korrekt gegart an den Tisch gebracht wurde, waren alle anderen Steaks eher medium rare.Ein Steak war sogar so so, das ist im Kern noch kalt war.Das ist definitiv nicht Medium. Nachdem dieses Steak reklamiert wurde kam, das gleiche Stück Fleisch, nach einer gewissen Zeit erneut auf den Tisch.Mittlerweile war es auÃen sehr dunkel, aber immerhin im Kern zwar noch blutig aber warm.Leider war es auch um den Service nicht zum besten bestellt.Nachdem wir nach dem Essen und dem abräumen der Teller über eine halbe Stunde vor unserem leeren Gläsern saÃen ohne dass sich jemand erkundigt hätte ob wir vielleicht eine Nachspeise oder noch etwas zu trinken möchten haben wir bezahlt.Wir waren schon öfter hier beim Essen und es war eigentlich immer gut.Diesmal ist aber alles schief gegangen.Eventuell werden wir, mit einigem Abstand, noch mal kommen um zu überprüfen ob dies ein einmaliger Ausrutscher war oder ob die Qualität dauerhaft nachgelassen hat.Das Lokal ist auch bereit sind nicht mehr so gut besucht wie früher....

On Saturday noon we had lunch at Casanova, especially the fish dishes were very well prepared, the Chef itself came to explain how he had prepared it. Nice and cozy atmosphere, good Italian food and close location to the city centre of Augsburg.

Il Porcino is an above average italian restaurant - located nearby the University.We eat there very often, because the quality of food is good, the prices are fair and the staff is friendly. Pizza is real italian style - thin and crispy - and of course you can see, when your pizza is made . Tables are covered with white linen and and with napkins (real napkins - cloth, not paper).During the summer months they have alfresco dining.Pizza starts from 5 â¬, Pasta from 5,50 â¬.They charge reasonable prices for beverages.

Pro Tip: if you haven't booked, you can come here after whatever it was you were doing and grab some delicious desert. The place starts to clear around 21:30 - 22:00, at which time they may not have mains anymore, but you're able to get one of their fantastic deserts.My girlfriend come here as often as we are able to snatch a table. We love the homely atmosphere, the fantastic food and the great vibe. Everything is decorated to perfection, the prices are more than fair and the food is delicious.There is no menu, the food comes in three courses. First, little dishes with a lot variety, typically around 6 for two people. For the mains you can choose between changing dishes, but generally there is calamari and lamb. For the deserts refer to the beginning. If you get a table, you'll have a fantastic time and food at terrific prices.

There is a reason why this restaurant is first on trip advisor and why so many people follow trip advisor when they travel abroad to get good suggestions. This was by far the best meal I ever had during my trips and the best value for money. If you are in Augsburg this is the place to go. Words can't describe how good this is.

Heute zum Lamm essen das zweite mal da gewesen. Das Lamm war wieder wie in den besten Restaurants in Kroatien oder Bosnien, in Deutschland habe Ich es noch nirgends auf diese Art so gut zubereitet gegessen. Da Lamm nicht jeder Mann Sache ist, wurden noch verschiedene andere Speisen bestellt. Alle Speisen waren sehr gut zubereitet, nett angerichtet und geschmacklich top. Preis Leistung ist einwandfrei, wir werden das Restaurant gerne wieder aufsuchen da auch die Bedienungen jedesmal freundlich und zuvorkommend sind.

After having read all the previous reviews we picked Osteria as the best restaurant near by.Reception when first arrived was astounding, we were given the impression that it was all too hard and we should probably go somewhere else! Having persevered to a table eventually we were served and the food was actually OK, not great but passable.Maybe we expect too much from wait staff, anyway if you need a feed in this part of town the food from Osteria will likely be OK, but donât expect a smile.

Der Inhaber des Flamm-Bistro kocht am Mittag frisch ein Tagesgericht, ansonsten seht im Wesentlichen Fammkuchen in vielen Variationen auf der Karte. Auch hier sind fischr Zutaten üblich, es ist keine TK-Ware. Leider ist der Gastraum bedingt durch die hohen Decken hellhörig.Aber warum heiÃt das Lokal "Le Tresor"?Die Antwort findet man im Keller. Dort gibt es vor dem Weinkeller mit interessanten Weinen einen keinen Raum - alles im begehbaren Tresor mit dicker Stahltüre. Das Lokal ist in den ursprünglichen Räumlichkeiten einer Bank untergebracht.Der Inhaber (hier kocht der Chef) hatte uns alles gezeigt und erklärt.
