I'd say that this's hotel is a rather traditional German family-style one:A lot of wooden elements in design, pretty simple and unpretentious. The view of the mountains is rather nice. The breakfast is fresh, but not special in any way.Note that there is no air conditioning and the wifi might be quite slow. The parking is free, so you are better off coming by car.The value for money here is rather fair. The value for money is rather fair.

I have been there many times and the food is always great, the service is also very good even though the place is usually quite busy. The salads are very tasty, also the starters and the mains. Not too complicated food, but always very tasty and reliable at very good prices. The wine options and cocktails are also very good. Great place to go have coffee, a drink or a full meal.

mySkylounge Kempten The Restaurant above the roofs of Kempten-Town. Enjoy the sensationell view while eating our delicate dishes. We welcome you and are pleased to host you. We have an english-menu, as well.
If you intend to visit the hotel or the restaurant, better take your nunchaku with you. You are going to have to fight your way to a table and then fight some more to get yourself some food. The waiting staff is most likely verbally abused daily, or just sick of their nasty, messy eastern visitors because you will likely never see any of them smile. The food is okay, but not what you'd expect. When you enter the hotel, you are blown away by the fantastic looking decor and marketing material on the televisions, but this is where the luxury stops. Both the escalators require some much-needed maintenance. I agree that this is partly the hotel's fault, but since myPark and mySkyLounge share the same building, both are equally responsible for the maintenance thereof.I have to add, that I only visited mySkyLounge twice, the first time when I arrived in Kempten and one more time just to give it another chance. Unfortunately, both times I had to deal with obnoxious waiters serving cold plates of food. The chef really knows his stuff, I mean, the presentation is flawless, but if you don't serve a hot meal in time, you lose all of that good flavor and aromas. There aren't many similar options in the Kempten area, and the views from the top-floor are absolutely breathtaking. So, if you are looking for a nice place to have some cocktails, and relax - here you go.And finally, this is quite a popular place if you're interested in live music and nightlife. Well worth a visit.Dear i_am_kaos, thank you for your review. Even though it's pretty grotty, we had to laugh so hard. Yes, it is true, the surroundings of the restaurant are obsolete. This is why the restaurant was renovated the last weeks, and the hotel is renovating since 3 years already, floor by floor. It is a large building with a lot work to do, but we keep on doing our best to make it better. The time while our "eastern" guests as you call them are at the restaurant for breakfast, it is really the time of the day, when our staff has not so much to laugh about. We will tell them about your review, and instruct them, not to forget to smile here and there. We hope to see you again as a guest, so we can show you, that it's not our standard to serve cold food. Kind regards, from the nunchaku swinging team of the mySkylounge

I've visited restaurants of this chain before and was not disappointed until I ordered a Spaghetti Carbonara at the Kempten location. It maybe was the most boring Carbonara I ever had. The basic ingredients Spaghetti, cream and bacon were all there but the most important one wasn't there. There was no love for the food present in this bowl. It felt and looked like the chucked in the needed stuff and dumped it on a plate. It wasn't disgusting, it wasn't wrong it just did have no taste at all. On the next visit I'll stick to the pizza.Ciao Steit, Thank you very much for your rating. We were pleased to have you with us. It is a pity that our food was not to your liking. As you may know, all our meals are freshly prepared âá la mammaâ in our open kitchen. So our guests see first hand what passionate Italian cooking is like. We can assure you that the quality and freshness of our products is very important to us, so they are carefully selected.Cordiali saluti,The L'Osteria Team

Nice restaurant in neo mediteranian style. Without reservation, they did make a table for us on a busy sunday night. Menu gives a variety of choices, from starters to main courses. Good food quality, worth every penny...Staff friendlyness could be a little better, but is typical Italian. All together we spend â¬. 27 per person for starter, main course, wine and coffee!
