We were staying nearby and the hotel recommended La Balsa. We were so pleasantly surprised. It has wonderful outside seating. We had the fixed menu which was rabas, corvino and a passionfruit mousse for dessert. The fish was delicious but the accompanying vegetables were spectacular. The service was excellent and very friendly. We had a wonderful lunch and recommend La Balsa.
Beach Bar in the most stunning beach of José Ignacio. Great food and drinks to make your day at the beach unique. Enjoy fresh mediterranean food in a small venue that combines a lovely atmosphere and the best staff.
à um bar de praia, com serviço tanto nos guarda-sóis quando em cadeiras próprias. Lugar simpático, com alguns petiscos muito bons. Cerveja gelada e serviço muito simpático. Bom para passar horas frente ao mar.
This ecological reserve area allows you to enjoy nature on the banks of the lagoon in an almost dreamlike environment. The restaurant has a brunch service from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. and from sunset until 8:00 p.m. What is important to Laguna Garzon cuisine i
We kept coming back as we found difficult leaving the laguna... They prepared breakfast, lunches and dinners with much passion and talent that everything tasted delicious.I would call they kitchen, the sun in the plate!Informal setting, focus is on the quality of the ingredients, the service and the presentation of the dishes.

Sarava by Dante Liporace offers the very best in Local and Meditarranean cuisine on offer in Uruguay. Located in Arenas De Jose Ignacio on Ruta 10, KM185
We had dinner (late, late dinner...) at this charming restaurant witha group of friends and honestly it was amazing!!!First of all, the building itself is extremely nice, as it is divided in different spaces that surprise you and completes the dining experience, and even if they did not spend a lot of money it has charm and zero pretentiousness. Great lighting and music alsoThe food was really good, and even if we were 14 people at a big round table I was able to taste so,e of my friend's food and we all have a blast, even if we are a tough crowd to please. The gazpacho was tasty and the tuna was sublime. Our waitress was the sweetest and most polite girl ever, and like the rest of the staff coming from SpainWe definitely be back

Wine bar/ Tapas/ Wine Store Great wine selection and healthy and natural tapas Open all year
Solera is the ideal place to enjoy yourself drinking excellent wines - following the most accurate advice of the Sommelier Soledad, owner - and accompanied by the most delicious tapas you can imagine. Everything has been carefully selected and fresh products used and the result is superb! The best wines, not only local ones but also international and a great "tapeo". The attention to the client is perfect, not only given by Soledad but also all her staff, making the stay enjoyable. Do not miss Solera, either alone , in couple, or with friends!

La Susana appears to be associated with the luxury resort, El Secreto. The crowd here is mostly English-speaking and clearly wealthy. It seems to be a place people come to see and be seen. The food is definitely secondary to the atmosphere. The food itself isn't bad but nothing special. The portion sizes are generous and the menu has something for everyone. The drink menu is extensive and they were happy to accommodate my bespoke drink request. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only issue is that the flavors were muted and unimpressive, despite everything being cooked properly (not overdone or undercooked).I've also seen a number of reviews mentioning the view, which I find a bit confusing. Although the restaurant is on the beach, it doesn't have a view of the ocean. There is a large dune blocking view of the ocean from the vast majority of the restaurant. It's nice to have your feet in the sand, but there's no sweeping view of the ocean as other reviews seem to mention.

Nice location. Contrary to the reviews the restaurant had my reservation and were seated immediately. The octopus and the squid starters were really good. We had the the corvina and the veal Milanese cutlet for the mains. Neither were particularly good. The location is top shelf and the restaurant was in a good spot. It was ok. I would try something else for the mains

We had lunch and again dinner within few days. Two different experiences, the first super good lunch from the buffet topped with delicious but rather heavy dessertsthe second average dinner did not meet our expectations for the fact that it was super dark at the table and the portions of the shared dining concept of that evening, were not enough for us event to have a full bite.while service at lunch was friendly and attentive , service during dinner had an attitude we have left with mixed feeling about the experience at this well known eatery"The end of an event leaves the lasting impression and determines the memory" ...
