Find out what Mediterranean restaurants to try in Ithaca. "Ithaca is gorges" can be read on proud t-shirts across New York State, and there is definitely truth in advertising. Sitting on the shores of Cayuga Lake, the largest of the Finger Lakes, the hilly town of Ithaca is surrounded by dense forests, towering waterfalls, and many gorges. The natural beauty has a distinctly academic feel, as local universities have filled the woods with museums and education centers like The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, which features a 220 acre wildlife sanctuary.

A brick and mortar, quick service restaurant inspired by street vendors, carts, and trucks from across the country and the globe.
This place tries to recreate about 5 different food trucks. Asian, Latin, American, Indian, baseball stadium parking lot.... We've only been once, but will sure go back soon. Very friendly staff, circulating to make sure your order (which you place on iPads or at the back counter) is correct and you're happy with the food. Be prepared to take out or share your table during the busiest times. Clog your arteries with amazing duck fat fries. Well-located for anyone who's on your way to the State Theater or Cinemapolis and wants good, quick food that will get you to your event on time.

Great stop for lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the mezza appetizer and Mediterranean couscous salad. My family enjoyed the pitas and kabob platters. Did not have the chance to try the heavier fare but would recommend as a lunch stop when in the Commons area.

We celebrated a birthday recently with a party of 5.3 of us had the lamb souvlaki, one the gyro, one the chicken souvlaki plate. We also had fries;always a special treat. The service is great, the food is great, and the owner is one of the nicest people you will ever meet! The parking is sometimes a problem-street parking only-but we have always found a spot.If you love Greek food-plus they have 'American' choices and great pizza-give this restaurant a try.
