We ate here two times during our stay. First time a lovely traditional rice dish, seccond time a seafood platter. Tasted great, but was waaaay too much and you should always leave some space fo a dessert, since their chocolate cake is to die for.

Our 4x4 driver who lived on the island recommended this place which is just back from the front and we passed some people coming out who gave it the thumbs up. Slight reservation in that we were the only people in there - huge restaurant. We needn't have worried. The owner / manager bought out a huge tray of fish for us to choose from. We settled on grouper in the end although I have never seen such a huge hake! Caught that morning and cooked to order. It was absolutely delicious. Cooked simply in oil with Canarian potatoes and a bit of salad. If you want to eat on the island make sure you go to this place. It is much better than the tourist places on the port front.

I asked both waitresses what fresh fish they had and could I have a look at it. My restaurant Spanish is functional. They pretended not to understand. When I asked the second waitress what fish they had for splitting and grilling she simply took an order for a portion for two. It took an hour to arrive, and was dry, without the usual garlic and parsley. I fear that the need to serve people correctly and to cook their food correctly has not reached this far flung outpost. Appalling. Nice view. The fish was called boca negra, incidentally, its dryness accentuating its boniness. If cooked for half the time it might have been nice, but I resent paying â¬34 for ruined fish.

Popped in here for a small beer before trying to find some of the other restaurants rated higher on TA.Sadly they were closed at lunchtime so came back here and ordered the grilled parrot fish.Have to say it was excellent and better than expected. It came with a salad and a few of the mojo potatoes. We only wished we'd ordered a side plate of them as they were lovely and better than the ones we sampled on 2 trips to La Geria. The views were lovely across the bay and it was a real sun trap.2 meals,2 small beers and 2 glasses of white wine was â¬36 which we thought was good value.
