The place is full on Sunday afternoons. They serve fresh fish and seafood prepared on a charcoal oven. The food is served quickly and with a smile. Not many tourists though, so the staff basically doesn't speak any language but Spanish. But don't worry , you'll manage :-)

To be honest, the place was a bummer for atmosphere - until the waitress Cristina appeared. She was a bundle of energy and threw herslf into her work. Alas, she threw herself too much and annihilated our wine bottle. No harm done to anyone's clothes and a fresh bottle appeared with many apologies. I've tasted better food in the pueblo, ( my tuna verged on the stodgy thanks to a breadlike stuffing ) but the ambience was worth it.

Had lovely lunch sitting outside. . Inside was busy with locals, Saturday lunch time, always a good sign! Lemo sole was very good as were my husband's prawns.Prices are good as we found every where in Isla Cristina.Set in nice plaza away from traffic makes a good choice to eat.

We came here on the recommendation of the taxi driver and although we were very early - about 8 pm - we were made to feel welcome and had some drinks with the appetisers. As usual, we all had fish and each fresh dish was well prepared. The service was attentive though unobtrusive. This restaurant is maybe a bit more expensive than some of the others, but not excessively so. All in all, to be recommended, especially for its cheerful atmosphere.

Located right opposite Ria Carreras, our restaurant Doña Lola is an amazing lookout which gets almost inside the estuary. It has two different areas. The terrace, outdoors. It normally gets very bright and sunny with all the light of our coast. The dinnin
I think this restaurant was the best of our whole trip to South East Spain. The set up is lovely and warm, the waiters very friendly and the food, glorious. I had a thai soup not on the menu but recommended by the waiter, simply divine! My Spanish friends both got the ajo blanco soup and they were licking their plate at the end. Main dishes were tuna steak, the speciality of this restaurant. Very well cooked. It was so good that even if we didn't had room for dessert, we had to take one of each on the menu. Glorious time it was, served with coffee and a glass of almond alcool. Boy, it was a really good threat!Hello Caroline! We are very happy to hear that you had such an excellent experience with us. Don't forget to visit us again if you come back to Spain. Regards!

This is our second visit to this small charming Spanish restaurant. Delicious food and charming surroundings.Salva the owner is so enthusiastic about the homemade dishes his wife cooks that you can rely on all his recommendations. We relied on his expertise in menu selection and were not disappointed. It's was a great way of trying cuisine that we wouldn't normally have tried.

We stopped here for lunch when looking for somewhere to eat in Isla Canela. There is a car park right outside, its next to the docks in the fishing/industrial area. From the outside it's a tiny bit unappealing but dont ket that put you off. The waitress was really lovely & spoke good English, she chatted with my 13 year old son who is learning Spanish at school. My son and husband both had swordfish which they said was very good. She recommended the catch of the day which she said was a white fish. Me and my daughter are it , it was lovely and excellently cooked. The waitress helped us to get the fish off the bones etc as we were useless! Its was really good & fresh. She recommended dessert a local dish a bit like a custard/creme brulee with just eggs and sugar which was sublime & also a local drink which was similar to ammeretto but with fresh lemon - again lovely. This is definitely worth a visit and we may pop back as I want to try the prawns !

Restaurant by the sea, we serve wonderful meals, with fresh fish, and delicious seafood! Waiting for you on the beach of Monte Gordo, to serve either a meal or just a divine cocktail!
We celebrated a birthday here tonight and had a lovely evening. The steak with 3 peppercorn sauce was superb and cook perfectly, and the monkfish and prawn skewers were delicious. The brownie dessert was extremely and yummy! The restaurant is right on the beach and the views are incredible, especially in the evening at sunset. It had a lovely atmosphere and the live music really added to it. We definitely recommend this restaurant, it was a fabulous start to the trip and really is somewhere very special. Thank youOlá Beckster_95. Obrigado pela visita. Antes de mais parabéns para o aniversiante. Obrigado também pela avaliação.
