Piccola chicca nel centro storico, Cucina di sobborgo con rivisitazione. Scelta di prodotti ottimi e ricercati in tutto il territorio Nazionale
This fine restaurant is situated away from lake Garda, therefor a bit less crowded. We were with four friends and tried to figure out the menu when this waitress came to our table and started talking Dutch. She speaks four or more languages so this was very helpful. We had a wonderful and good meal, with drinks and desert for less than â¬25,- each. We even got a discount mentioning the hotel we stayed. Do not hesitate to go there, you won't be disappointed.Grazie mille...Dank je wel Hopelijk tot een volgende keer!!

The elegant and comfortable restaurant of Villa Sostaga welcomes its guests in a 19th century Villa. It's a pleasant frame for your lunches and dinners serving tasting dishes of traditional Garda cuisine. The panoramic veranda, Liberty dining room and Cla
Due to our late arrival at this hotel, we decided to eat in the restaurant that evening, also because the reviews were very favourable. We were assured in advance that although we were mostly vegetarian but ate some fish we would be catered for in this respect. So we were initially surprised by the lack of choice, no special veggie option, only a spaghetti Napoli and only one starter of spring vegetable broth which in our opinion, was just pesto flavoured water with a few tomatoes and peas thrown in. We chose sesame crusted sea bass for mains but this was tasteless. The grilled vegetables were inedible as the aubergine was undercooked and therefore tough. Also the vegetables served with the main were cold and the potato 'mash' was a tiny spoonful of puree. This is a very expensive restaurant and has a good reputation so this is why were were so disappointed. The meal was returned to the kitchen but did not come back any better. We received no apologies and therefore decided to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay. I have reviewed the hotel separately.Dear guest,We are deeply sorry to read your review. We think your dissatisfaction with our cuisine was due to the fact that you arrived quite late and that the kitchen was already technically closed. We wanted to meet you halfway but with an obviously smaller choice of menu. We apologize because, by your review on our hotel we saw that you enjoyed your stay at Villa Sostaga. If you choose our hotel for a stay on Lake Garda again, we would be delighted to show you our restaurant in a better light.Cordially,The Seresina family

I had read that Lido 84 had achieved a place in the worldâs top 100 restaurants before I booked so expectations were high. The restaurant also has a Michelin star. The service was as good as possible with waiters and commis chefs in abundance, and all passionate as well as speaking excellent English. The owner took a lot of time to explain the menus to us and when each course arrived the individual waiter again took time to explain things. We took the 6 course classical tasting menu at 80 euros. Each course was excellent and not too large. The exception was the sweets which kept appearing and were amazing. This restaurant well deserves its place in the top 100 and really should have at least a 2nd Michelin star. The other bonus is that the price, for what we had, was reasonable, mainly because the wines are fairly priced. We paid a total of 130 euros a head and donât begrudge it at all.

Our local improved from year to year making constant improvements appearance, quality of service, hospitality and attention. More than 300 labels of fine wines, many grappa, rum wiscky and spirits. We offer an intimate and cozy, magical atmosphere. All th
Carne normale. Servizio simpatico e professionale. Triste il tovagliato scuro, ma sono gusti. Certo, le finestre coperte e alte non permettono la vista all'esterno e ti fanno sentire un poco in uno scantinato...

We've been to La Sosta many times and our customers have always enjoyed the good food and service. The owners are very helpful. They offer typical dishes of the region. Just ask the waiter what they have freshly prepared for the day. Forget your diet and try the very tasty "tagliolini" with hot spices and the very juicy "guanciale" cooked in Barolo sauce. Take a look to the Arab horses they have in their gardens too, the owner is very proud of them. It is also a hotel, rooms are comfortable.

We were told about La Darsena by the manager at the Hotel Grand Fasano (which we also highly recommend). They offered a shuttle directly to the restaurant which was a great help while traveling with my 80 year old father-in-law. We were greeted warmly and entered into a modern dining room decorated in elegant shades of cream and browns. The menu offers plenty of seafood options however we ordered the Australian beef, quail, and prosciutto pizza. All were excellent quality and well prepared. You could easily make this a place for a special occasion or for a casual dinner while on vacation with family. Exceptional customer service by nice young men who were helpful and kind.
Cold fries. Cold Verdura Grigliata (grilled vegetables), a Tagliata that does not come as advertised and a schnitzel made from recycled flip flops. I truly couldn't believe that terrible service like this one does exist. We were done in 5minutes. Payment they "forgot" 10 euro in the change......(which they returned without discussion once noticed and asked for). The food is expensive. The quality is very very poor. = very ba value for money. Plenty of alternatives in the direct surroundings. Talking to the people in the village they all confirm our experience. The excellent reviews I see here have to be fake.

If you want a simple, well cooked and well presented meal overlooking the lake, look no further. Service is brisk and pleasant. Prices are reasonable and the food is of good, homemade, quality. There are tables outside both in sun and shade and a large indoor space as well as a bar area. Small selection of good local wines at sensible prices.

I ate at this restaurant with my girlfriend on a Fiday night , I found it a good italian restaurant serving good and fine food . Bot my "tagliata" and my girlfiend "trota" were well prepared and tasted really good. We apreciated the beer Estrella Inedit , not so easy to find usually , but in our view a very pleasant taste. The bill was in line with other restaurants of such a quality and location

We found this place on TA while on a road trip from Saló. Very nice garden area - quirky. The waitress was great fun - very charming. We had fish risotto and pasta with "lake ragu". Very delicious. For dessert we shared orange cake (Nonna's recipe). Don't miss this place!
