This restaurant came highly recommended by friends.We booked in advance to confirm that they were suitable for a wheelchair user, we were assured that they were.On arrival we found the restaurant was far from wheelchair friendly with different levels throughout.They did get me in but we were sat in a function room on our own which was disappointing as we did not have any atmosphere.Service and food however was good.

My missus booked the Kingsley restaurant area for a few hours one Saturday, to throw a surprise afternoon tea party for her parents' 60th wedding anniversary.We arrived in good time to set up banners, balloons, the cake and other party accoutrements, before the guests arrived and then the happy couple. I think there were about 28 of us in the end, with plenty of space in the restaurant for all of us, but with access to another quieter room if we needed it.Peter, Peter and everyone else involved couldn't have been more helpful to make the event a success. The food was perfect - lovely mini-sandwiches, quiches, cakes kept flowing - and there was an endless supply of tea. The bottles of Basque cider hit the spot too.A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon that the Diamond couple won't forget in a hurry.That is great to hear - thank you.

El Castello is a spacious traditional Italian restaurant with a good choice of pizza and pasta. Service was quick and friendly, the food was good and reasonably prices. We paid £8 - £10 for a pizza or pasta dish. Toilet facilities were also reasonably good. The restaurant is situated in the main high street in Fleet so I'm not sure how easy it is to park during the week. We had no problem on a Sunday night.

On the recommendation of a friend, my wife and I popped in for lunch. To sample as many different dishes as possible, we stuck to the starters (tempting as the main course dishes look!)The food was very nice indeed: selection of hummus, breads, olives, aubergine, felafel. Jolly nice.We will certainly be back - in the evening, for a proper blow out!

We booked for 3 but ended up as 4, despite it being a very busy night there, they were happy to accommodate our changes. The service was very good, again despite it being very busy. We had a variety of food between us (pizza, pasta and meat) and it was all delicious.Hi jcg2011 thank you for your review. Another great meal at El Castello. Fantastic ambience, excellent service and great food. weâve been regulars at El Castello for a number of years and itâs still our family favourite. Weâre never disappointed. Despite being coeliac thereâs always a wide selection of dishes.
