We went for a mid week visit and it was busy even on a tuesday! We took the easy option and went for a couple of platters, the Eastern and the Mediterranean, one is a meat platter and the other a fish platter. There was plenty of food for 3 large eaters and we supplemented with 3 sides, the flavours were very nice and if I have to find a fault the fish was slightly overcooked but still very edible.Overall a very nice meal and we will return

Visited this restaurant for breakfast last month for the first time as we were staying in the area. I hated everything about it. Their cappuccino was horrible. I could not even drink it. The restaurant itself is small and crammed together and does not look particularly clean.I ordered the DIY omelette thinking itâs a normal folded omelette but instead I got a flat pizza shape omelette which was just awful and dry..... if you donât fold it then you donât get a nice soft fluffy omelette. So disappointing. None of the other foods we tried were anything special. Waste of time and money. The following week I ended up at this restaurant again for breakfast a second time only because all other restaurants in Harpenden were full and this was the only empty one and my Husband wanted breakfast.I ordered the cappuccino again and hated it again. Itâs actually very expensive for the quality of food you get. Will not visit again.

We had some things to celebrate and flung this little gem in Harpenden. From calling to reserve a table, to ordering the staff were friendly and welcoming. The good was very nice, we ordered the meze for 2 as as starter for 6. Which went down very well. The new Yorker deli sandwich was huge and really tasty. With three meats and cheese it was excellent. The salads are fresh with lot of flavour. They don't have a specific children's menu but they were more than happy to make a simple pasta for our kids. The coffee was smoothe and lovely. Tap was available and came in small bottles which is a very nice touch. This place is s little gem. Thank you.We will be back.
