#soundslike'souvlaki' Relaxed. Contemporary. Delicious. This is not your average Greek restaurant. We honour the traditional with a modern approach to everything we do. We feature outstanding cocktails and a Greek wine list to accompany some truly inspire
Came for 2nd time, to try the antres. We tried the sea bass, and beef suflaki. Both cooed good. The bass with shrimp and vegetables was cooked good. The beef, medium, was cooked correct and the the sides were good. Onion ring was a little greasy but that's it.Dessert was a bit sloppy in plating but the taste was good. A fig cake.Portions were big. Price was a bit on the expensive side but worth it. Owner, Sam, was a great host and service was as good as last time.

Had a great meal on a Tuesday evening. Four of us arrived at 6pm with reservations I made online. We were greeted & led to our table by Sadie, our waitress. Sadie was very pleasant & had an excellent memory for repeating the evening specials & for taking complex orders, no writing pad. There are evening specials each day, Tuesday is buy 2 Cicchetti (tapas) & get the third free. Two members of our party ordered the 3 tapas:Beef Crudo, beet carpaccio, meatball & ricotta, veal cheek croquet, vegetarian Napoleon & smoked salmon carpaccio. Main dishes chosen: Beef Stroganoff & Branzino (sea bass).Only the veal cheek croquet was not appreciated. The stroganoff was delicious and so was the fish however the fish could have used a little side dish.In all it was a very pleasant evening in a moderately decorated bistro. Highly recommended.

Baranga's on the Beach is beautifully located just steps away from Lake Ontario. When visiting Barangas you can expect a resort like feel where you can sit back relax and enjoy the spectacular view from our spacious patio. Barangas offers a variety of tra
Sitting on the patio is a must. It's almost entirely shaded by early evening. You can't make reservations though so if you don't go early (before 5pm) you will have to wait. The service has been fantastic each time I've visited and the food is good. I'm not exactly a 'foodie' but I love their bruschetta. If you're getting a salad, ask for dressing on the side as they use a little too much and your greens will be swimming by the time you finish.

Edens Café is a little eatery with a big heart located in Hamilton, Ontario. This cozy place serves up Mediterranean, Italian and Greek cuisines with a Middle Eastern flair. The concept behind the modern café was to bring specialty drinks and quality fres
Quite a diverse menu for a smaller restaurant. Our party had chicken parm, spanicopita, and Sea Bass. All were very tasty and you could tell that they were freshly made. No mass produced food here. I wide selection of desserts too. Carrot cake and a vegan cake were both very good. Portions were just right; not USA-sized, but still plenty there to satisfy. With desert and drink, you are probably in the $40 to $50 range.

This restaurant was quite highly recommended at our B&B, but one must be cautious of recommendations, right? The food was very good, however, and that is most important. We started with a shared Spicy Potato appetizer (plenty for two people) and then, it being warm, went with light fare: a Chicken Shawarma and Kafta. And they were very good but what is it with the pickles? I should have simply asked for none since they seem, and were, out of place on this type of food. A local variation, I suppose. Now here's the irksome things: first of all, I can't imagine a more dull and monolithic exterior and, especially, interior to a Mediterranean restaurant! There was NO decoration what so ever inside; it was a very clinical and unappealing decor. Second, although the menu stated "Turkish coffee/espresso" I was told "we don't serve that here". No explanation was made for why it was on the menu. There are three of these restaurants in Hamilton. Perhaps the other two are more cheery and honest. I'll never find out since I will never go back
