Wandered down to the restaurant during the day to check it out and decided to stay for a drink; received a good welcome from the Manager who chatted to us for a while and we booked a table for the next night. The restaurant is typical blue and white with painted tables and chairs, not smart but then the view is outside - its position on the estuary is perfect. There was an excellent assortment of mezes, some of the best we have had in many years of visiting Turkey; we chose our fish which was 120TL so not cheap but we really could not fault its cooking or service. At this point I should say that there are many other options including some farmed fish, so you don't have to pay this much. The wines were also very good but this is where you will find your bill increasing as a bottle of reasonable white wine is 90TL (in the shops the same wine is 30TL) - this is as much or more than we pay at home for an equivalent wine.We had one unusual experience when there was a power cut; at which point all the fish alongside the restaurant started leaping out of the water ! Apparently this always happens but it was pretty amazing to watch. Candles were out in moments and we were rather looking forward to finishing our meal by candlelight but power was restored quite swiftly.Overall, a very good evening. The staff were very pleasant and attentive and the owners introduced themselves, there was a pleasant buzz and nothing was rushed. It was an expensive night out, approx £100 for the two of us, which you don't often pay in Turkey but we had expected this. One unfortunate downside which is why only a 4 and not a 5 was the disgraceful state of the toilets. Not acceptable.

I have just returned from Gulluk, and having read the trip advisor reviews about Kircin restaurant, I was looking forward to trying this restaurant. True, the restaurant was busy with locals, but on arrival we were stood in the entrance without being greeted by any staff, eventually a waiter pointed to a table we sat down, were brought menus, but never asked if we wanted a drink. Eventually the waiter arrived to take the orders, but this was done with a very surly attitude. At this point I must admit that the food was very good, but looking around the restaurant, there was a distinct attitude difference of how locals and visitors were treated by the staff. Locals were treated with respect and friendliness whilst the visitors appeared to be tolerated. We did not feel welcome, a sign of this was that locals after their meal were all given plates of fruit and non of this was forthcoming to the visitors. When the bill arrived no-one came forpayment and on leaving we went to a waiter who was on the phone who stuck out his hand for the money and carried on the telephone conversation. No-one asked if we had enjoyed our visit or the food.If they smarten up their customer service skills it would be worth another visit, but I doubt if that would be us.

Love this Restaraunt !We visit when picking up family from the Airport. We visit 3-4 a year along with other places in Gulluk. The owner and other man who serves are fantastic cannot do enough for you and always attentive. A creature of habit I have calamari for starters which is always superb followed by the Sea bass filets stuffed with prawns in a wonderful sauce with vegetables. The beers always cold and wine nice as well. A really lovely place to gaze out to sea and appreciate what you are experiencing. My wife will also have fish or chicken but I must say a great place to eat and enjoy life!

The Eski Depo fish restaurant over looks Gulluk harbour. The scenery is lovely. Watching the boats and the people taking strolls around the harbour. The staff are so friendly and welcoming at this restaurant. The food is unbelievable and the prices are fantastic. If you don't eat fish, they have other meat dishes and not forgetting something for the vegetarian person. I was staying with my family for a fortnight in Gulluk. And even though the hotel was all inclusive we did pop out a few evenings to take the sights of Gulluk harbour. We came across this quaint little restaurant where we had the best fish meals we have ever tasted. It is all fresh and the staff don't have to drag customers in as it is word and mouth that get them in. We heard about this restaurant from one of the hotel guests and we tried it for ourselves one evening and was amazed by the food and the portions. We paid for starters and main with drinks just over thirty pounds. Try it and see.
Where to eat International food in Gulluk: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Just spent our last evening at Green House after visiting for a drink in the afternoon. Owner and other staff members are a delight. Beautiful restaurant inside and out.Even the bathroom is spotless and tasteful. Food was exquisite. Prawn starter is a must try.Sizzling and succulent with roast garlic and mushroom. Sea bass was fresh moist and delicious and with homemade chips. My partner adored his steak. Cooked to perfection. My son loved his mixed grill and my normally fussy fourth guest munched happily on the garlic bread starter and chicken wrap but was delighted with samples of other food. My son and his partner delighted in watching the very charismatic and talented chef cooking up perfection on the flaming grill. Just the right attention to detail and superb service and value. A highlight of our trip. Thank you Greenhouse. You have earned your five star rating and so much more.
