We had a nice family lunch in the restaurant. It is a typical catalan restaurant with traditional local food. The food is tasty (great starters and mountain rice). The prices for food and wines are very reasonable and the value for money is amazing. The staff is also friendly.

A meal in this restaurant was the gift from my wife for my 55th birthday, and she hit the nail in the head, I must say. We took the 12 courses tasting menu and we were to tally satisfied with our choice. No one course to critisize, but a couple of them were outstanding: the flounder with molten iberian ham and specially the sirloin treated like a roast beef and foie gras... delicious! Obviouly I cannot comment on price, but sure it's worth for a special occasion.

A great spot from a rest - and not to forget, with reasonable prices. Situated central in the heart of Daga. Seating inside as well as outside. Dropped in for a easy and quick coffee and drink. Very friendly staff and quick service too. Great place to relax and watching people passing by.

This restaurant deserves to be better known as the quality of the food is exceptional; everything we ate was delicious. The gentleman who served us, who I think was an owner, helpfully explained the menu and the philosophy of the restaurant to us and answered our queries about the ingredients, some of which were unusual. The wine list was good, with some organic wines. They use mostly organic, "biodynamic" and local ingredients of very high quality, including delicious wild mushrooms, and the cooking draws on traditional and historic cuisine while being modern in presentation. We were in Catalunya for two weeks and enjoyed many good meals, but this was undoubtedly a highlight. It is not expensive for the quality, and indeed there were fixed price menus at a good price, as well as pizzas. I was just surprised that it wasn't full to bursting! The aforesaid gentleman and the female chef were obviously genuinely passionate about what they were doing- I say that because you can get a lot of self serving stuff about provenance on menus but this was the real deal. Should you be in Baga, do give it a try- personally I think it's worth a journey.

The fixed price menu is cheap but of the lowest possible quality. I have never seen food like it in Spain, certainly not in Catalunya. All out of the freezer. The a la carte is OK but well overpriced for pretty average quality. There's a real sense that they are trying to give the least possible value for the most possible money.

Having lived in Barcelona for 7 years, I have never had better seafood anywhere. Gambas a la plancha; Chipirones, fresh and tasty. Came back Sunday and had another excellent experience with fresh and soft-cooked pulpo. My warmest recommendations.
