Den Gastraum und den relativ groÃen Biergarten zu bewirten ist sicher nicht leicht. Am gestrigen Sonntag waren wir dort und saÃen im Biergarten, der mit etwas mehr als ein drittel Gästen besetzt war.Wir haben nur Getränke bestellt, aber erst nach etwa 20 Minuten. Die Getränke kamen dann nach weiteren 30 Minuten. Gezählt habe ich 3 Servicekräfte.Absolutes NoGo, als unsere schwangere Begleitung das zweite Mal rein ging, um die Bestellung zu stornieren, standen unsere Getränke auf einem Tablett bereit.Der Barkeeper meinte dann: "Da stehen eure Getränke, nehmen Sie sie doch mit"Sie: "Das ist mir zu schwer, ich darf das nicht tragen!"Er: "Das ist für uns auch schwer!"So eine Aussage ist unter aller sau und unterstreicht, wie unprofessionell hier teilweise das Personal ist! Die Bedienungen waren allerdings sehr freundlich.

Noch neu in GroÃ-Gerau und gut gelungen! Es hat schon lange einen solchen Laden vermissen lassen!An der Stelle des ehemals Cafe Roma. Aber nicht wieder zu erkennen. Alles auf den Kopf gestellt und neu gemacht! Essen: sehr gut!Atmosphäre: top!Service: nichts auszusetzen!Der Laden könnte auch so in Frankfurt oder Wiesbaden stehen!

Our restaurant with its outdoor terrace offers not only a unique view, but also a rich selection of dishes of the highest quality. Especially pasta and steaks belong to our specialty.

We've been twice and the second time was even better than the first. The restaurant is comfortable, light & airy. You can watch the barges go by on the Main. The service for us is good & friendly, apparently not for everybody if you believe the reviews. Wine & beer are good. The food is good. The meats are well cooked and of high quality. You need to work through the menu to determine what it is you like. The deserts are very good. If we were to criticise at all it would be that the starters don't match what comes after. Is it expensive? It's not cheap, but we frequent restaurants who ask much more. The reviewers who seem to expect wagyu beef for a low price might need to adjust their expectations to reality.

The hotel Monika is okay. It's not expensive, the rooms are clean, though a bit run down. The shower has a knee hugging Norman Bates curtain. You cannot leave the window open, because of the traffic noise. However, it was okay, it was for one night and conveniently close to my appointment the next day.The restaurant, however, is what makes it worth your while. Good food, friendly service, nice wine. There were business people, but also quite a few local people.
