We happened upon La Cantina by chance. We werenât very hungry, but we were charmed by the casual gentleman we came to hear was the âBoss Man.â He gave me a fist bump, and then gave us a nice table inside. We were treated to wine and appetizers (and later, dessert) on the house, and enjoyed cocktails and our delicious meals, and had a lovely time.

The best of simple Tuscan kitchen with excellent territorial organic ingredients on a breathtaking view and family service.
I saw this on Trip Advisor and booked it for the whole family. None of us were disappointed - it's amazing, both the atmosphere (sitting on the terrace under the shade of a big old tree, with the smell of figs, looking over the most beautiful countryside) and the food.We went for lunch with the family, ranging in age from 12 to 87, having most things on the menu from pasta to chicken and beef and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. There was a great choice of wines and the service was fantastic. We couldn't have been better looked after, the son of the owner being our waiter and speaking exceptionally good English. It was great value and we will definitely come back if we are ever back in Panzano - thank you Il Vescovino for what we think is the best meal we had in Tuscany in the 2 weeks we were there (we think you beat a Michelin star restaurant in Cortona!).

one year's old restaurant specializing in Cucina Tipica
Lovely setting in a welcoming cool courtyard on yet another scorching day in Panzano. The service was excellent, friendly and very welcoming. We felt âfooded outâ after wonderful food whilst in Tuscany so opted for a risotto with peppers and anchovies and chicken stuffed with truffles and red chicory. Both were delicious: the chicken especially so, whilst not that aesthetically pleasing it was fantastic. Finished by a deconstructed cheesecake and all washed down by a lovely chilled Chardonnay. Highly recommended.

Rustic elegant derived from the old mill of the farm Rignana, which was the home of Bishop Scipio Ricci Outside Of the large terrace that overlooks one of the most beautiful Chianti The wine cellar is managed by the family of Rignana Abbarchini since 1983
If you want to experience true Tuscany then La Cantinette Di Rignana is your place. The views are absolutely spectacular overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany. En route to the restaurant is also very exciting, driving on dirt roads, passing small villages, and ultimately arriving at an area that brings you back in time. The food was very good and the reason why I did not give a 5 star rating is because the truffle dish lacked truffles compared to other restaurants and they did not have fresh gelato for desert (personal perference). Other than that, you can't go wrong!

In the heart of Greve in Chianti, on the corner that leads into the square, where there was once an old staging post and, earlier still, the stables of Greve, there is still a peaceful and private place thatâs well worth stopping by for a bite to eat. Thi
We stumbled across this hidden Gem on our road trip around Italy. Driving through Greve in Chianti, in the rain, we noticed this quaint corner Restaurant that was serving grilled meats and Chianti. The owner was very sweet and accommodating. We were some of the first patrons in the restaurant so she was able to give us a full tour around their menu. The restaurant was cozy and rustic with a wood-burning oven. To start we ordered traditional Bruschetta with diced tomatoes and an eggplant terrine, which were super tasty. The second course was a Risotto with a pistachio cream sauce. It's flavor was delicate and outstanding. Our main course was a Filet of beef over a yoghurt cream sauce with baked tomatoes on the side. The beef melted in your mouth. Our meal was accompanied by a Savignola Paolina Chianti Classico Reserve recommended by the owner. If you're in the area and looking for a true Tuscan experience this place is a mustHow beautiful review!Thank you so much!Gall Nero's staff

Its not to be missed. Potentially the best food I had during a 10 day Italy trip. Went twice. Food and presentation has a french touch, simple but excellent. Its a symphony of tastes and gets rounded off by the best local wine I had tasted in the area in

Itâs high quality products and varieties and the Andrea Parrini the owner is a great, very simpatic and give you a warm welcome ! He can explain you all the varieties of Tuscan cheeses, hams and wines and itâs a good value for money... I was very happy to be there and I bought some bottles of Chianti wine according to Andrea Parrini recommendation. itâs a very agreable and intimist place in the heart of the Chianti ,Tuscany, I love this paese ! Grazie Andrea! Caro Amico!

Open lunch 12:30/14:30 and dinner 19:00/22:00 During the afternoon We serve cold dishes
This was a wonderful restaurant off the beaten path with the most amazing views. The food was outstanding and the service and friendliness of staff/owner encouraged a second visit within 5 days. We came from Bologna where the food was excellent so this was refreshing to find just as wonderful food in the Tuscan region. If you are near this area I would suggest a visit!

Newly opened vineyard restaurant in the heart of the Chianti Classico, just 3 km north of Greve in Chianti. The careful craftsmanship that characterizes our wines is also given room in our kitchen, where produce from our own vegetable garden take center s
This was one our best meals so far in Italy! Our first night in Chianti after Bologna and Florence. We did the four course tasting menu with wine pairings. Each course delightful, full of flavor, interesting combinations and not huge, heavy portions. A more contemporary approach to the food and nicely presented. The staff was excellent, really passionate about the food and wine, and definitely wanted us to have a good experience. The setting was lovely, a bit out of the way high up in the hills. We highly recommend Terreno!
