Fabulous location near Valbonne with magnificent views from the splendid terrace. We were there with seven other friends for lunch on a Friday which comes with a set menu offering a alternative meals for three courses or two if preferred. We choose a varied selection, entrees of Salmon, Squid Carpaccio, Beef Tartare were excellent. The main course of Lamb was disappointing, very dry and overcooked. The Rose flowed the service was very good and the whole experience was really nice and certainly not over expensive for what you get here.A must visit if in the Valbonne area.Dear Peter C,Thank you so much for your opinion about our restaurant.Yes, we are located between Grasse, Mouans-Sartoux, Valbonne Sophia-Antipolis.We have a lunch menu from start 21⬠- 2 dishs or 28⬠- 3 dishs and the lunch menu change every months with sesaonnal and local products. For the lamb we are also disappointing because this is a candied lamb who cook for 12 hours and the meat is very tender. We hope to see you again,Have a nice days,Best regards

Basically this is a "Poissonnerie" or fish market with a chef attached. The accommodation is pretty basic but the fish and shellfish are of the freshest and the cuisine is of a high standard. You can compose your own shellfish platter from a substantial menu, or have one of the many standard compositions. Alternatively generous portions of five or six types of fish are available, and absolutely none are fish farmed. On certain days a home-made Bouaillabaisse is available to eat on the premises or take-away. A small selection of deserts are available, also coffee, but this place is like a brasserie and no-one will encourage you to have a three course meal. Good fish these days are a luxury and the prices are not particularly low, but as though to compensate the price of wine at this establishment is really reasonable. Try this unusual location - you will not be disappointed.

This review is written after a fourth visit. The food has been consistently good with friendly service and a very reasonable price. It's a little off the beaten track which probably explains the price, but if you're in the area it's definitely worth a visit for something a little different.

A quiche should have a crispy bottom. This was soaked starch. Ordered fish. Could not eat 'hospital food' in France. No reason for poor quality and prep. Most French restaurants change menu to effect what's fresh. This restaurant has a yellow paged, sticky fingers, old menu that doesn't alter. Very disappointing. No patio only indoors. Better alternatives.

Have been here for 14 years mainly for family lunches, this is one of our absolute favourites in the area. Excellent service, good and intersting mediterranean menu which bring out all the flavours, leaving no one disappointed. Nice to see that the quality is consistently high. On the negative side, prices for wine and drink have risen sharply and some items are now at ridiculous levels, which keeps us from rating the venue full points.

Having read the mostly positive reviews for this restaurant, we were looking forward to discovering it. The first surprise was the restaurant itself! It looked small and dingy from the outside and not much better within. Basically, the setting and decor are awful. The service was decent, the waiter was polite but responded in monosyllables. On the plus side, the meal was outstanding and worthy of any high end French dining establishment. So, to sum up, a mixed bag. A great eatery but I wouldn't go there for a celebratory occasion as the setting is not on par with the food.

Traveler's Choice 2018. Come discover Cuisine steeped in the flavors of Provence and the Mediterranean made with fresh products from the morning market. A very attentive service. In the enchanting village of Cabris, 4 kms from Grasse and 20 minutes from C
A perfect meal in perfect surroundings. At â¬34 for the 3 course lunch this is astounding value. We were shown to a fabulous table next to the window and overlooking the valley. We both chose the bouillabaisse which was a perfect rendition of the dish with enormous pieces of fish. The dessert was a masterpiece â a fruit soufflé on praline biscuit base, in the shape of a pear. Surprised there were no local white wines by the glass so we chose a bottle of Figuiere, expensive but worth it for a special meal. We enjoyed coffees outside on the terrace and watched people admiring the view over the valley. There were freebies galore too, from amuse-bouche at the start through to crème caramel with the coffees. Perfect service from an ever changing cast of waiters and waitresses.

We picked this venue for lunch based on reviews only and weren't disappointed. We shared a vegetarian tapas for two which comprised of great local cheeses, four different tapenades, olives, sun-dried tomatoes and confitures. It was a deceptively large amount of food and we enjoyed it enough to leave with an additional slice of one of the local cheeses. Great for watching the world go by, very reasonably priced too. Looking forward to another visit.

My fiancé is currently living in Grasse and during my recent visit we found this lovely restaurant. We have gone back three times now. Delicious food and amazing service. The outside patio is great also. There was some live entertainment on Saturday evening the first time we went. I will definitely return.

Christine and Thierry welcome you to feast your taste buds with authentic fine dining , gourmet , home made with fresh, local products green surroundings in the shade of olive trees, garden for children , private parking
New owners - just taken over in the last week - but the quality remains the same - superb French cuisine with an emphasis on local produce, slightly off the beaten track but well worth the effort of finding it. The garden and play facilities mean that adults can enjoy a great meal and the kids won't get bored. Very friendly proprioters who speak English. Highly recommended if you are staying in or near Cannes.
