Great food and service, overlooking the beach - wonderful for lunch and dinner and especially nice to sit and watch the sunset whilst enjoying the local cuisine and a cold glass of wine - highly recommend !

We have returned to this place after two years and the quality of the pizza is the same. Simply excellent! My favorites are pizza Napoli and Fornarina estiva. There are other great pizza places in Sicily, but this one is simply the best!

We dined on 18/1, restaurant quiet because out of season and midweek day. We were staying at nearby Yachting Club who recommended this place and we are glad they did! The restaurant is within walking distance and with lovely view of the sea, or so we imagined as we were too late in the day to appreciate that...We had really delicious pasta and fish courses, washed down with local white wine. We passed on dessert as portions are very generous. Service was attentive and friendly. We definitely recommend this little gem.

Ordered in English/Italian but was served more and different than we asked for. The salmon was bacon, an extra dish with meat, and the pasta was over-cooked. We could have voiced our dissatisfaction but it seemed too late. Perhaps we were just unlucky.

The waiters were wonderful, and the food was exquisite - we had the Carpaccio which was huge!Gnocchi A Piacere Bolognese and Linguine Bolognese, they also had Amarone @ $50 which is a steal.The owner also send us a Tiramisu to share which was so light, beautiful.

After eating throughout Gioiosa Marea, this was hands down, both the friendliest and amenable venue that we had encountered.The pricing was excellent and the food was what I had expected from Sicily, fresh and rural.The venue had an outside seating area, which was impeccably placed and remarkably clean and tidy. The staff even came out from the kitchen and picked herbs from outside the church, which was the positioning for the eating area.it is worth the walk from the coastal perch into the depths of the town and I throughly recommend this venue if you enjoy food and geniality.Grazie per aver lasciato un commento. When we visited Sicily in late September, La Piazzetta became our favorite spot for dinner.The restaurant is located on a picturesque square in the middle of the village. The inside is inviting, but donât expect anything to fancy. A lot of locals were dining there, which is always a good sign! Staff were friendly and helpful, judging from other reviews I suppose it helped that the busy season was already over.As for the food: I especially loved the mixed seafood antipasto and all the pizzas.

We came with our friends and ordered the dishes. We are waiting our food more than 1 hour although it was just pizza and pasta. When they bring me pasta it was cold. The pasta carbonara was so spicy and salted and my son canât eat this. We ordered another dishes. When they bring the bill they include the both in it. I canât imagine how this place can be the first in this area. Now itâs the worst place in Sicily. Iâm so sad.

Il nome è appropriato,in cima si gode di una vista mozzafiato. La cucina è tipica degli agriturismi del circondario,discreta ma con pochi picchi di eccellenza. Rapporto qualità /prezzo con sconto TheFork ottimo. Consigliato.
