We popped in after dinner for dessert and coffee. Warm welcome, table for two by the water, impeccable service. We ordered chocolate gateau with chantilly cream and two scoops of icecream to share. Chocolate gateau, still warm from the oven, was sublime. The chantilly cream came with whole fresh blueberries. The two boules of icecream and the cake were decorated with a cape gooseberry complete with opened seed case. Imaginative and such an innovative, enticing finishing touch. Coffee was superb too. We are sad they will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday) as we are certain brunch there would be delicious too.

To start the food is great and thatâs the main thing. Set in the country beside the grounds of a church itâs an unexpected place to find a restaurant and itâs worth finding. Dining in the open air though has mosquito downsides - just saying! Then there is the owner. A strange little lady who makes no attempts at pleasantries and just gets down to business her way. To her credit, after much indecision she agreed to cook my daughter chicken breast which hadnât been on the menu.I had the grilled lamb as did my wife - I was a little disappointed she loved hers. Chocolate fondants to finish were exquisite.

We are a vintage Citroen HY food truck set up for the summer in our own lovely garden .
A large group of us enjoyed the Indian BBQ which Jean Marie hosts a few times during the summer season, plenty of flavours and array of meat, seafood, salads to please everyone. Jean Marie and Ariane provide a beautiful setting in which to enjoy their delicious food.A bonus that night was the perfect spot to enjoy the fantastic firework display at the end of the evening.Would highly recommend this restaurant, open every evening at the moment serving Mediterranean/fusion food which changes on a weekly basis.

One of our favourite restaurants. Pleased with updated decoration inside which makes an even nicer ambiance. Thought food had improved and was told there is a new chef. Even better. Partner thought chocolate cake to die for. More reasons to find this place which is a little off the beaten track.

Had read all the reviews of this restaurant and was looking forward to a splendid lunch. Very disappointed having walked several miles along the canal on a Friday to find it closed despite the website saying it was open. Location as described right next to the canal. I'm sure the meal would have been great.Terribly sorry but we have recently opened another restaurant in ginestas and are currently closed in paraza at lunch due to staffing problems but hope to sort it out by next week!

Traditional restaurant, large dining room, terrace, beach and parking situated at the entrance of Bize Minervois diplaying a live concert every Friday evening. Currently open every Friday evening, Saturday evening, Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening.
Lovely setting! We sat outside and received a warm welcome from staff. We ordered a variety of meals, all of which were very good. I had the chicken which was delicious and served with vegetables, which seems to be vey unusual in this part of France! The house red wine was very light and much enjoyed.I had chocolate tart for desert, a real indulgence, the others had cafe gourmand which went down very welll. All in all, an excellent dining experience.

We met friends here for a few drinks and i have to say that it is a lovely venue. Perfect to sit and watch the goings on on the canal. Friendly staff and good service. We enjoyed our visit and will certainly return when we visit again.

This was our first visit and having seen some mixed reviews we were a little apprehensive, but the setting was very pleasant, nice ambience and the menu looked reasonable.Have to say we had a very pleasant lunch......service was fine if a little distant, so could be a bit more engaging with customers but it was fine and so i'm being a bit picky. The wine list reasonably extensive with many choices very reasonable priced. Beers and wines by the glass well priced also. The menu again reasonably wide and varied with both a la carte and a series of set menus. The food we ordered ranged from king crab and avocado starters to mains of lamb cutlets, duck breast, tuna tataki style and sea bass...all well presented, fresh and well prepared - no complaints. Would we return? Yes definitely.

Bar a bon vins, bière et tapas. Bar serving quality regional wines, with a selection of local and international beers. Tapas menu available, plates starting from 3â¬. Shaded courtyard, music evenings. Open all year from 6.30pm Thursday to Saturday. Check o
totally changed, rose was oxidised - i.e. peach coloured not rose and tasted odd, they did not know what we were talking about but changed it for a white immediately, snack food was very basic and not very pleasant but homemade fries were excellent, nowhere to sit in courtyard to hear music, old inside of bar closed, only seating was outside on rickety chairs and fold up tables in street with music separated by a very high wall, food served on street from trestle tables but lots of people there so obviously some people like it!
