I've been here with my gf. We had a menu with one entry, a pasta duet to (two types of pasta in a dish) and a main course to choose fish of meat, coffee and dessert and wine (bottle) included for 30⬠each. Everything was local and fresh, not particularly tasty, but it's because the ingredients do not help, for example the fish, pike perch, it doesn't have an intense flavour. Nice restaurant, to visit.

Disappointing. Was expecting better based on the reviews.Below par service - pleasant enough but missed on a few levels. Wrong water, had to ask for bread, wine...Food looked great on the plate but... Luke warm rabbit. Undercooked pasta (and I am not talking al dente - it was undercooked). The dishes seemed to come out very quickly to all tables which might explain the problem. And more like $$$ than $$. Attractive room, good bread, good coffee.Maybe everyone was a bit off their game after a busy Easter weekend.

Had dinner with a friend on a Wednesday evening. The restaurant is part of a hotel, beautifully located in the small town of Bee, close to Verbania. It's not possible to park your car near the hotel, which might be a bad thing when it's raining, but to me it was already the beginning of the experience: slow living! And it is an experience. The hotel has 6 rooms, a restaurant and a stunning location to have your breakfast. The menu offers a la cart options, but also a menu with fixed courses. We decided to have the menu and let the staff choose the wine. It started with a wide range of amuses and home-baked bread, Not all of the amuses were special, but the way they were presented was original. And so far for any comments on the food and wine. All the rest was perfect, or at least close to perfection. Add to that the genuinly friendly and 'real' staff in the restaurant and you have the receipe for a perfect and fancy evening with food. I will be back!

I had the pleasure to be at Locanda Pozzetto several times. They were always good, the food excellent, however this time they went beyond any expectation!Despite they had few problems with some staff not showing up at work that day...we confirmed our reservation. The lady (I assume the owner) who attended on us was basically taking care on her own alone of all tables. Therefore we all were ready to spend some patience and wait...unexpectedly the service turned to be excellent, even better than usual, I thought! Not much to comment about the food: each and every bite was divine, ingredients are among the very best I've ever tasted in my life and the chef really knows how to achieve the best out of those. Servings are very generous and, surprise, prices very very very very very very honest!Locanda deserves to be visited also because of the fantastic location and the stunning view! A kinda Michelin starred restaurant where they know how to treat genuine ingredients and guests...A must try!

We had a very enjoyable meal here, despite the storm that brewed up, we sat outside on the veranda which is really nice. The food was great, everything we had was top quality. I especially liked my fish ragout with spaghetti. The service is extremely efficient and friendly too.

Fantastic food here with a very talented chef. Well worth a visit both for dinner and very reasonable lunchtime menu. They have lovely outside area but we preferred the tables inside as the interior is really well done.

After visiting this nicely located restaurant (with a big terrace) again after 2011, I must say: they were able to keep it up on that high level. Basically it's a simple restaurant ... but: the food choices and especially the preparartion/presentation is just great. Personnel is very helpful and nice and the prices are affordable. Recommeded (also for groups) !

Thanks to TA we were lucky enough to test this place. This is typically a restaurant I would never have been to from just looking at it from outside. It is very basic and offers simple dishes but they're all made with fresh ingredients. This is probably how it would taste if you were invited to some locals family dinner. Plus service is excellent and extremely friendly. Prices are unbeatable. It is certainly off the beaten track but this is probably where the locals come for a meal. It's definitely worth the detour.

The place I mean was on the lake front street just north of the high church tower in Pallanza. The reatsrant was small with a tables outside in front and a curtain far privacy. It had really good food and lacked tourists

... A small corner of paradise ... How nice to be lulled by the sweet notes of the selected music while enjoying a glass of wine that accompanies dishes of tradition and innovation in which Alex and Max compete by offering their passion in the pot . The s
We had dinner with three whole families. The owner greeted us and loved to talk about the food. It was a fantastic experience. We took his advise on the primi and segundi and we were not disappointed. The tastes were great. The location is in a historic village, which begs for a stroll before or after dinner. Finished with a delicious dessert. Unfortunately we missed the primary platter of the restaurant which is chocolate salami because they had run out. So we will have to come back one day. Bring enough cash because the dinner was pricey. But sooo worth it!
