Urbania was celebrating its patron Saint Christopher with most restos booked but an inquiry to Casa Tintoria got us a fine table in a lush setting by the river. Outstanding start was the antipasto course with five small plates served sequentially, each being a surprise of texture and taste. Skipped the pasta and went to mains which were excellently prepared and served. Servers were efficient in spite of being short staffed. The historic building in itself is a treat to explore. The approach walkway is very steep downhill so flat shoes may be advisable.

We choose this restaurant also if the old reviews weren't very inviting and now we can give to this restaurant the deserved recognition.The place is simple like a common trattoria, but the food specially the meat is fantastic.The service was fast (not like many reviews said) Long list of desserts have completed our dinner and even if i just try one and was amazing, I think you will not disappointed from all the others ;-)Must try if you are around

Excellent aperitivo, good wines, quality grappa and spirits and beers, and the outside tables in the warmer seasons are the no.1 vantage point for the eveningâs actions (the vaulted dining spaces are characterful too.) The food is consistently good quality and not unadventurous. There are several good places to eat in town, and good cafés, but you havenât really done Pennabilli if youâve not been in the Bel Fico.

Wide range of pizza (different types of classic - 5-6 EUR, special 6-9 EUR, pizza 'bianca' 6-9 EUR). We wanted to go again next day to try some pasta, but unfortunately Monday is closed. Recommended!
