A friend introduced us to this restaurant very close to the Steigenberger Hotel where we were staying for a week.We ate there several times after that and loved the pineapple and ham pizza (only one large size), Lasagne, Rigatoni Gorganzola, Mango Salad, Caesar Salad, Tomato Soup, and Chicken Salad. The service was great and the atmosphere was lively. Many young people were enjoying the food inside and outside on their patio.Ciao Cheri,Thank you very much for giving us a good rating. We were staying in a hotel about a block away and walked by L'Osteria several times. We finally decided to give it a try after checking it out on Tripadvisor. While not a bad experience we would probably not go back. The atmosphere was pleasant, our server very good, and the prices were reasonable, The bruschette was good, but we were pretty disappointed with the pizza. Unlike the pictures posted on Tripadvisor, there was very little cheese on the pizza and the sauce was thin and watery. If I could, I would give it a 3.5.Ciao! Thank you very much for your feedback. We love to make our pizzas large, thin, and crispy â just like original Italian pizzas. Unfortunately a thick layer of cheese would make the pizza base soggy instead of crisp.Cordiali saluti,The L'Osteria Team

Fabulous restaurant! Itâs located outside the old town, but thereâs a tram stop a 5-minute walk away. The food was superb. The iced lemon yoghurt soup was amazing. So was the amuse bouche, which was a wonderful avocado-infused sour cream concoction served over tomato bread. I loved my pork and octopus (which included a delicious pumpernickel paté topped with a sun-dried tomato glaze). The octopus, by the way, was the best Iâve ever had. My wifeâs guinea fowl was perfectly cooked. The sour cream rhubarb ice cream was heavenly. This was one of the best two or three meal we had during our month-long stay in Germany (and one of the others has a Michelin star). The chef is delightfully creativeâwe think heâs going to be a star himself.We ate outside, on a warm summer evening, which was very pleasant. The wait staff was informative, and steered us to excellent but reasonably priced wines, which paired well with our mains. I couldnât recommend Stresa more highlyâit was a real high point of our trip.

I loved the place. Excellent tapas. My favorite, the grilled calamari. Fine restaurante in a beautiful city. The service is very fast too in case youâre in a tour.

We ate at the Herrenhaus on two occasions. The indoor dining room is charming and the outdoor beer garden is nice. The food and service were very good and the prices were moderate.

If you want to find a restaurant in the Renner Str. quarter you would be very lucky steppin into this taverna. Great wines, wide menu of greek cuisine, pleasent stuff and cosy interior is the reason why I willl go back in the next stop in Dresden.

we had dinner there twice and the pasta dishes where really delicious and perfectly prepared. Try the Tagliolini with truffle oil mixed in a big Parmesan cheese which they do not have on the menu card but make for customers if asked to do so. Unfortunately the service was not really good on both evenings. the home-made desserts are lovely.

Had dinner here during a business meeting not too long ago. Ended up in one of the dining rooms which had a great ambiance. Enjoyed their 4-course menu together with partnering wines. Great place for a more luxurious dinner without paying star prices. Food was delicious and it was a great experience with an eye for detail. Would love to go back with my better half some day.

After several nights of having convenience food for dinner it was time for a proper meal. This one was a winner thanks to your recommendation ....it was helpful that they had an extensive English menu to choose from too as unfortunately we donât speak German. It was well priced too.
