R is a restaurant centred on the Moroccan specialities. Briwates, earthenware cooking pots(meat stews), couscous are in the menu. Their salty sweet flavors, spices which accompany them will bring you as a taste of childhood somewhere else â¦R is alsoa plac
This was previously an Italien restaurant which we enjoyed and having looked forward to trying something a little different we were disappointed.A slightly quirky but pleasant atmosphere and not bad service - although having clearly indicated our choice on the menu one of the dishes was not as ordered. The starters were very tasty but my lamb skewers were dry and a bit tough. Not about to return.

Nice terrace, friendly staff and sumptious food. Little emphasis on the Italian cuisine but international and french specialties are also available

Wonderful super-busy Italian restaurant in the pedestrian area of Fontainebleau, fun, fast and furious. Excellent pizza, some decent Italian wines, outdoor tables and roving piano accordions in the street. Whatâs not to love? (Actually in my view the piano accordion. But they arenât part of the restaurant) So when youâre done with steak frites....

Midweek dinner for 5 and we had the place to ourelves, but it was not because the food was bad. The food was wonderful and the host (a real Moroccan berber with great pride in his restaurant and his homeland) helped us select some great dishes. Where multiples were ordered, it was served "family style". The recommendation of the house special desert of a Moroccan crepe was worth leaving room for. In the end, his refusal to bring us coffee was not unfortunate at all because he came with delightful moroccan tea instead and served it with a flourish that aerated the tea and brought out the wonderful flavors.

The food was really good, the best calamari I have had in a long time. The first server we had made us move table and then wasnât happy that we only ordered a starter and a green salad but we only wanted a snack. Other service wasnât bad. I will say again the food was excellent.

Located in the heart of Fontainebleau, near the central market square, close to the church and the pedestrian area, in an atypical setting with fireplace (in winter) and terrace (in summer), the restaurant La Méditerranée proposes its specialties of mezze
As all the outside tables had been reserved our initial disappointment was very short lived. The interior was full of character, there was plenty of room and our window table was ideal. Service was friendly and first class. The menu was short (a good sign) and a bit different and the food excellent.
