Authentic Italian pizza with a thin crust made from 00 flour, topped with imported Italian meats and cheese. An experience that you cannot get from the pizza high street chains. Take away essentially but we do have limited seating should you choose to eat
Classic line from a classic movie and Roka serves classic pizzas! Four of us dined there on a blustery Saturday evening .Not crowded but they were very busy with takeaways. Simple comfortable surroundings and friendly staff. We had 2x12" pizzas and 2x10" pizzas which you can get for a discounted price, as well as the recommended wood fired roast potatoes.Food was lovely with real refreshing authentic flavours-potatoes were great and pizzas fab-we all have eaten pizzas ranging from Sainsbury,Dominoes and even in New York but Rokas were really very tasty! Drinks were 2 beers, glass of wine and a soft drink and bill came to £52.They are happy for you to take away anything you cant finish. Parking can be a bit of a challenge in Sandgate sometimes but its worth it to visit Roka. Definately recommended!

Authentic Italian Restaurant serving wide range of traditional dishes and some modern ones too. And, a good selection of wines from around the world. Gluten free and vegan options available
Saturday late lunch, thought this place looked inviting. Had the special starter of crispy fried prawns with garlic and rosemary bread between us which was gorgeous and thought great, main meals would be fantastic, but very disappointing. I had pasta with ham, mushroom and cream sauce which tasted lovely but was served on a freezing cold plate so made this food go cold very quickly and by the time I had got someone's attention for the black pepper I had already eaten the majority of it due to the lack of warmth, I did tell the waiter and he just said you should of let me know but that was what we were trying to do but couldn't get anyone's attention even though they were not busy serving food. My husband had the cannelloni and said it was very dried up with no flavour. I was also annoyed at the fact they added 10% service charge to the bill but never saw a notice about this, I always leave a generous tip when the service and food is good quality but did not want to leave anything on this occasion!! The following day my husband also had an upset stomach and felt sick which led him to be in bed all day long, and the only food he had had was here.

First trip to sandgate, thought weâd drive out for brunch and came across this establishment. What a lovely warm, friendly place, chilled whilst drinking our coffees and enjoy the Spanish cuisine. Would recommend to all, great place to relax.

Just passing through and found this place. Dog friendly which was important this time. Nice decor and nice choice of food. Staff were attentive and recommended a lovely beer âBoon Doggleâ. Food was perfect and good value. Outside surrounding are a bit stark but this is a little oasis.

Started with meat balls and prawns, which were very good, and more than enough for starters. Our main meals were lamb casserole, and vegetable moussaka, which again were very good.Desserts were beyond us, but a double raki helped to promote a smile of satisfaction .Service was courteous and with a smile.
