We selected Verace based on a good TripAdvisor rating, plus an offer of 20% off with a reservation via TheFork here on TA. The tuna tartar starter was very good, followed by a seafood risotto â risotto was too salty. The fish course recommended by the waiter was very small and extremely salty, it didnât have any sides. At the end I ordered tiramisu, which came in a very small jar. This jar contained only sabayon and a small, very dry piece of ladyfinger. I just noticed: lately there are many reviews from accounts with just 1-2 reviews, something I usually pay attention to. Not planning to return.

The clerk at our hotel recommended this restaurant and boy did it deliver. We had a wonderful meal here, arguably the BEST meal we had in two weeks in Italy, and that's saying something because we had fantastic food over the two weeks we were in ITaly.Restaurant is very simple, an owner who is server and then a couple of "nunnas" in the kitchen cooking. Just wonderful food and service. Highly recommend the pasta dishes. ALL OF THEM!

I found this place after looking for a restaurant near my B&B. The Tripadvisor reviews that I read were confirmed by my meal. This family operated restaurant met all of my expectations. The quantity and the quality of the food were excellent. The rombo baked with potatoes was spectacular dish. I could not have asked for a fresher fish. The service was an added attraction to this place. When in Fiumicino, I will definitely return here.

After having experienced wonderful food at tipico restaurants in Umbria, Emilia-Romagna, Bologna and Firenze for our 2 plus week trip, I booked this restaurant (and hotel) for our final night. After observing the fresh seafood arriving as we checked in we had a wonderful 10 course (110 Euro) seafood and fish based meal with a lovely bottle of wine (reasonable choices in the 35-40 Euro range). This is a chef who know what he is doing. There is a 5 course menu which also offers a great tasting opportunity for those not prepared for a 3 hour extravaganza. Very nice and polished service.

We are respectful of a gastronomic tradition inspired by Abruzzo's cuisine, re-proposing healthy and simple dishes, such as those of a time without ever giving up on quantity, taste and genuine cooking. We propose, through skewers cooked on grilled firefl
We popped in (7 of us) for dinner when staying at a nearby hotel on our return. After 7 days of seafood our kids wanted a change. The place focus is meat and was perfect for us. Everything is served on a stick (barbecue mode). We had a wide variety of different meats. All tasted very well and clearly had an idea behind it. The prices are very reasonable and we where surprised upon receiving the bill. The owner is Italian but has lived abroad for 19 years and our kids was delighted to be able to chat and order food. A very nice and social gentlemen. It's really worth looking this place up if you have the possibility.

At Fiumicino, Via dei Dioscuri 77, a few steps from the Lungomare della Salute, there is the Restaurant Villa San Giorgio. For those who want to eat in a quiet and reserved, well-groomed, but that puts you at ease, for those who appreciate the true value
The ambiance and atmosphere here is absolutely gorgeous! It overlooks the part of the ocean known as the Tyrrhenian Sea. The food was completely on point and delicious. We had a wonderful red key aunty half bottle of wine, split a fried calamari appetizer that was the best version we have ever had and each had a risotto dish. We completed the evening with their tiramisu which was phenomenal and very moist. While the food was remarkable, the atmosphere and ambience right by the water was so quaint and definitely well liked by the locals.

We ate here when staying at the nearby Mercure Hotel, 11 euros in a UBER and we were here. We were welcomed by a friendly waitress who seated us and gave us a menu. There is a huge selection of pizza's that varied form 6 to 8 Euros. The food was great quality and well presented, Lots of locals were eating here so we knew it must be good. 3 pizza's later and 1 bottle of wine consumed we headed back to our hotel.Worth a visit if you are in the area.

We had to stay one night by the airport and found this wonderful restaurant. Our meal was exceptional, the service was gracious and welcoming and we had the best night joining in on the fun when a professional football team also dined with us in this small family run place. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend!

This is simply the freshest grilled seafood you could find anywhere â and only about a mile away from airport. We had an assortment of grilled calamari, scampi, clams and mussels â and a pasta with mussels and clams in a white sauce. Make sure to save room for homemade lemon and coconut sorbet served in their shells. This is the kind of place where everyone comes out of the kitchen to say hi. Simply the warmest hospitality. This is a meal not to be missed â what a lovely surprise to have such a great meal before enduring a transatlantic flight!
