The food is great (fresh pasta) and the restaraunt is very nicely decorated. The manager is really friendly and the service was top notch - a great place to rest after shopping in Fidenza as well - highly recommended

This restaurant was recommended by my hotel. I visited three times while staying nearby because of the good service. The menu is typically Italian. Some of the food is prepared in an area you can see - which suggests the restaurant is proud of its kitchen. The food was excellent quality and very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and made me feel like I was a lifelong friend. The tables and chairs had a bit of a formal look, but there were televisions dotted around showing football which gave a more relaxed atmosphere.

Il Casale offers the best of Italian cuisine in a relaxed, family atmosphere. Il Casale is an Italian restaurant that boasts a large menu and an excellent selection of wines. This is an ideal setting for romantic meals for two or family lunch.
Location is nice for the kids, however food is pretty average. We had pasta, pizza and fish, however we did not find anything extraordinary good.

We came for Apertivo and stayed for Dinner. I love the concept, part providore, wine bar & restaurant. Prices very reasonable. Good selection of wines by the glass, very good apertivo buffet. There is a restaurant with table service upstairs but in the end we chose to order a casual meal downstairs. Simple ravioli ricotta pumpkin fresca with sage and butter sauce, crusty bread & glass of vino. Very popular and Would go back again. Its near the outlets centre so convenient to go after shopping.

My husband and I were driving, in heavy fog, between Pisa and Bergamo when we pulled off the autoroute at Parma hoping to find a decent restaurant that would be open rather late on a Monday night. We took a wrong turn in the fog and found ourselves in what seemed to be an industrialised area and soon gave up hope of finding anything decent and decided to make do with whatever we could find. Via Emilia is a busy road and luckily for us, Amoretti is well-lit and we had time to pull over in the fog. At first we thought it was closed - there appeared to be nobody around. We weren't easily deterred and climbed the steps to peer in through the window at what looked like a delicatessen with a sort of cafe layout - all the tables were set but not a soul in site. I tried the door and was totally surprised that it opened - and even more surprised when the chef came out from the kitchen, greeted us warmly and reassured us that we could indeed have dinner. The place is spotlessly clean and the delicatessen is stocked with everything from caviar to Champagne ... the range of wines available is outstanding. The food was excellent - platters of Bellota ham (I know we were close to Parma but five years in Spain made us nostalgic and it was the special of the evening!) followed by beautifully cooked fillet steak (blue for my husband, medium rare for me - both perfect), accompanied by oven roasted potatoes and a good glass of house wine. Chef served us himself with such warmth we felt as though we wanted to stay all night. It wasn't at all odd sitting there alone because the welcome was so gracious and the food so delicious we felt as though we were being treated to a private party. Next time we are anywhere near Parma we will be taking a deliberate detour back to Via Emilia. Highly recommended.

The dinner was really great. We were advised by the owner (very friendly, competent and present in the room) for both food and wine and we were absolutely satisfied. From the 4 mixed appetizers to the main course each course was delicious, original with particular combinations that have enhanced the raw materials. Excellent also the desserts. Reluctantly I can not give top marks because unfortunately the room is really too small and noisy and if I can make a small criticism, the presence of 3 groups of more than 5 people each perhaps is exaggerated by the possibilities of the room inside. I think it's worth rediscovering it in the summer.

Just off the A1 motorway exit, this place could be seen as the typical stop for the sales rep in a hurry. Which it probably is, but the quality of it... As you enter, you are surprised: it's a motorway supermarket of the highest quality (cheese, ham, cured meats, wines, balsamic vinegar, all the possible typical local produce from the gastronomic capital of Italy...), but with a bar and also tables (in three separate areas) where you can have the most mouth-watering lunch. And a glass (or a bottle!) of great wine, if you are not driving. A fantastic surprise.

Charming but not luxury restaurant, really nice service.Location is a countryhouse, very well restored and furnished.Internal room is with exposed bricks, create a warm environment; outside, during summer, sunset and garden are really nice.Food is incredible, upon season's productsstarters are fresh and delicious, homemade pasta, tagliolini and tortelli MVP, meat and fish are tasty!Desserts, "coppa spagnola" and "Sbrisolona", must be tasted.Good list of wines, with local and over Italy products. If you are in the area.. highly suggested

Two weeks travelling in northern Italy we feel very lucky to have found this restaurant. The menu is original, the presentation is impeccable and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Definitely memorable.
