Looking for somewhere peaceful to eat in Albufiera, we luckily came across C19, a clean modern eatery on the road out of the Old Town. The food was excellent, the drinks superb, and the price refreshingly reasonable. A little piece of heaven in rather a lot of hell.

Traditional Portuguese Cuisine - Indoor Room, Terrace and Lounge - Open for Lunch and Dinner Closed on Sunday
We have been coming to albufeira for 12 years and only discovered O Lusitano this year, however this is one restaurant we will always be returning to. From walking in through the entrance you know you have escaped the strip and entered a Restaurant that you know will deliver quality food. The decor is smart and the atmosphere it creates with the ever relaxing background music really does allow you to relax and enjoy a great meal. The two waiters that served us the two times we went in our week were superb, they advised on the local food and wines with a great depth of understand. They both made us feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. Each meal we had was very well presented as you would expect from any high class restaurant. A taste sensation to say the least. Each time I took the waiters choice of meal and was not disappointed. The Portuguese sausage was no ordinary sausage a must for anyone. Who would have thought black pudding and pineapple would be a match however the thin slivers complimented it so well. The suckling pig with sweet potato mash is definitely a meal to have over and over, unbelievably good.Prices are not what you would expect from such a class act as O Lusitano, between 10 -16 euros for the for mains. And a wine list on par with all high end restaurants (Portuguese wines)There were several returning British couples in the restaurant however many local residents filled the room and created a great atmosphere to O Lusitano.Indoor and outdoor eating is available for whatever atmosphere you prefer.I cannot praise the staff enough for their impeccable service, this really is a must for all that what that one night out where food is king and quality of service is high on your

The only Greek Restaurant of its kind in Albufeira, Pita Gourmet offers a Mediterranean experience in Portugal. Fancy âmezesâ (tapas-style), filled Pitas for a quick and cheap grub or a sit-down dinner in a relaxed but professional and friendly atmosphere
Really good food and service. My two kids enjoyed the mezze starter, the kids menu and the selection of desserts. For the adults, this was a journey back in time to when we used to holiday on the Greek islands before children. The food tonight was just as we remembered and it was great to share Greek tastes and flavours with the kids. The main courses were tasty and nicely presented, the desserts knocked our socks off and provided a definite sugar rush to help the walk back to our villa. Highly recommended.

Only chose this restaurant for a light bite late'ish one evening on the way back to the hotel. 2 X 10 euro 3 courses later we were blown away by the quality of the meal, and the quality of the staff. Tried to eat again here a few days later but the place was packed. Not surprising given our experience. Highly recommended.

Located on the road from Ferreiras to Paderne, just about 6 km from Albufeira, you will find an unique place with a cosy and pleasant ambience, that take your gastronomic experience further ahead. Here Chef Ezequiel creates fusion cuisine, bringing region
My wife, like many other wives I imagine, has a 'thing' about washrooms in restaurants and I have had to leave a great number in the past owing to them not passing my wifes inspection.XEREM FUSION I am delighted to say past with flying colours and I was therefore allowed to sample some of their delicious food. Whilst they have a number of delighful looking appetizers, the couvert is ample when accompanied by a hearty fillet steak. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and accompanied by a pot of homegrown vegetables and Boulanger potatoes. The desserts were quite simply divine. I enjoyed the creamiest melt-in-the-mouth red berry cheesecake whilst my wife had a deconstructed Lemon meringue pie. With a bottle of Herdade dos Grouse at 17 Euros a bottle, 2 large bottles of fizzy water and 2 glasses of rose wine, the bill for 4 adults came to 120 Euros. VERY REASONABLE INDEED FOR FOOD OF THIS QUALITY. Thank you Restaurant XEREM. We will be returning very soon.Good morning, we're very happy that you enjoyed it and we very much appreciate your comment. Thank you

Went here one evening for a meal before a football match. The owners are nice people and the 9.50 tourist menu is reasonable priced as you get a free drink included. Unfortunately, no vegetarian option on the tourist menu, however, the owner said he would prepare a vegetable curry. The starters were nice and the desserts, however, the mains are average, salmon was nice and plentiful though.

Just off the main road, 2 minutes from town by car (literally), it's a place I found on TripAdvisor, and glad I did. Waiters were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, menu isn't large, but food good, as are the prices compared to town. Nice outdoor seating area surrounded by flowers. 5 stars.
