Eaten here quite a few times, tried something different every time, and every time the food was lovely, the service was good too. Not pestered by staff but they are there when you need them, showed sport on the TV which my hubby liked as he could watch the football !

Lemon chicken delicious. All staff very attentive and friendly. Average prices but would go again. VIP lounge at the back a great addition where you can chill with no hassle Thank you so much for your nice review. We hope to see you soon again

Al Attar has moved from further up Kariba Avenue to a more central location at the traffic lights in Fajara. It is the first restaurant in The Gambia to display, under refrigerated glass, a large selection of marinaded kebabs - beef, chicken, lamb, prawns, shish etc. All are cooked to order on an impressive stainless steel charcoal grill in the outside seating area. Only down points are frozen chips ( though pretty good ones!) and a poor selection of soft drinks. No alcohol and the management are not happy for you to bring your ownAlso serve sandwiches, shwarmas, burgers and Lebanese salads.Food is cooked perfectly, service is good. It is the best situated cafe in Fajara.They also act as a butchery, selling freshly prepared and marinaded raw meat. It is Lebanese owned.

The starter and desserts were good here, lovely venue but the main courses were just not cooked well, very burnt steak, even though medium requested and the fish dish was disappointing compared to other fish eaten at local restaurants

Another example of good food and service despite this being off-season. I had the red snapper which was nicely cooked and accompanied by mixed vegetables. The sweet potato fries were harder than I expected, but that might be the local version of sweet potatoes. Worth a visit for relatively low cost meal.

Been to this restaurant before 5 years ago and were so pleased when it was still here. Food and drink order was taken quickly. Lots of choice on the menu. I had a steak and it was perfect. All the food came out at the same time. Quality was excellent. After we had finished we were given complimentary pineapple and water melon. A nice touch. Loved this restaurant last visit, loved it again. Would definitely recommend.

Good food, nice setting especially at the street site, were you can watch the senegambia life. (Be early) Only disadvantage the many âmusicâ guys asking for money after theâve obscured the view and spoil the area with there music. Recomended cocktail:Mojito.
