The third largest city in Albania, it is located on the Shkumbin River in the District of Elbasan and the County of Elbasan. The present municipality was formed at the 2015 local government reform by the merger of the former municipalities Bradashesh, Elbasan, Funarë, Gjergjan, Gjinar, Gracen, Labinot-Fushë, Labinot-Mal, Papër, Shirgjan, Shushicë, Tregan and Zavalinë, that became municipal units. The seat of the municipality is the city Elbasan. The total population is 141,714 (2011 census), in a total area of 872.03 km. The population of the former municipality at the 2011 census was 78,703.

It is a very pleasant restaurant with a spacious parking along the Shkumbin River. There have fish and meat on the menu. The staff are friendly and communicate more than one foreign language.Unfortunately, my lamb was very tough and desolately without taste. This happened to me for the first time in this country full of good cooking masters. Also shisqebap from veal was not on the level. So even good red wine could not stimulate appetite.

It was our first visit in Albania and our very first experience in a restaurant there. And we have been extremely much impressed by the very good quality of the food, the excellent service and the friendliness of the stuff as well! We never expected there someone talking Italian so well. From the welcome by the employees to the great food and the standard and cleanliness of the washrooms - everything just perfect! Had a simply fabulous meal with wonderful vegetables, lamb and potatoes. A peaceful setting surrounded by beautiful flowers! The price for us as Americans was very, very cheap.

We were travelling in center Albania and found this restaurant due to the positive feedback on tripadvisor. Well, I can confirm that the place is worth the visit. All the ingredients are really tasty, especially fruits and vegetables are really on another level compared to western europe. Also, good pasta and the vast choice of wine (mostly italian) was quite a positive surprise. Highly recommended
