Tasting room where you can enjoy the famous Grazalema Cheese from Cabra Payoya and from Grazalemeña Merino Sheep paired with very unique Sherries and Ronda Wines, all accompanied by the best Iberian Bellota Jabugo among many other delicacies in a space wi
We dropped by for drink and tapas before dinner. Very impressed with the service and high quality tapas and drinks. Excellent manzanilla. We also has a tapas of local cheese, and probably the best jamon we had throughout our two and a half week Andalusia holiday.

Specializing in grilled meat and traditional food .. Beers, wines, tapas and spirits. Wide terrace and outdoor playground.
Friendly and quick service. Good sized meals and ideal for a quick lunch. Lovely shady position and very reasonably priced.

Good spot at the square, and nice to wind down with a cold beer in high weissbier-type glasses. The tapas are ok, even though nothing special: chipirones squid in green sauce, nice squids but no salt and a sauce that only taste melted butter. Maybe a sprinkle of any kind of spice next time? Same with croquetas, pork and batter has no taste in itself really. Cheese and pork of local origin was above average , however. Would come back for the beer.

You know when your at a family run business in Andalucia, they're always ready to hand you the menu and serve you. Many loud locals gather hear and enjoy a late afternoon drink, whereas El Lago next door sits empty, I wonder why?I strongly recommend the aubergine flamenco, finely sliced aubergines, lightly battered with a quails egg (fried) on top.About 8 in an entree serve, so good for sharing.

We tried this restaurant on the basis of TA reviews and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is a little rough around the edges but the food was excellent. We had a Moroccan salad and assorted croquettes to start, followed by a beef and a lamb tangine, more than enough for 3 people. Would definitely recommend.

Had planned to eat lunch at the place a few feet away but saw this place had a nice dia offering. I started with a great revuelto with sausage and potatoes followed with an excellent grilled fish. Chocolate cake, a glass of very nice local wine, fresh bread and very friendly service were also included. English not spoken but the young lady went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied. Our bill totaled 16 euro for two. You can not do much better anywhere. We have found this quality and pricing in many of the hill towns not overrun with tourists.

The restaurants in Algodonales are not fine dining, but they are all excellent at what they do. This bar was perfect for our first night when we really only wanted a snack. We left full of great tapas and very good wine. Also incredibly reasonable prices. Happy!

Wonderful Terrace overlooking the lake, serving contemporary Andalucian cuisine with a focus on local produce, organic wherever possible, vegetarian choices, home made desserts and a winelist filled with regional and other Spanish wines. Daily Specials bo
We ate at their outdoor area overlooking the lake. We arrived a bit early so had some cold tapas and wings to start with our drinks. Then when the kitchen opened we had dinner. The food was outstanding (2 different paellas) and the service was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Visited towards the end of May when the restaurant was only open Thurs to Sunday. We had booked a table for 3 online and received a confirmed booking very quickly after sending the request. Arrived at 7:30pm and the restaurant was quiet as still early season. The entrance is at the far end of the car park (a sign showing way to entrance may be useful). The Chef/owner was very friendly and described the menu in detail, we all opted for the taster menu which consisted of 5 courses at a total cost of 15⬠per person. The quality and presentation of the dishes was excellent and consisted of seafood and meat courses, finishing with a tasty desert. Excellent meal, the negative was we only found this place on our last evening, give this place a chance. First class.

Every superb. The Host / Owner Antonio was extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Small but cosy venue that never appeared to be empty.Any minor problem (one only - meat tough) was rectified immediately and with sincere apologies. We were in the area for a 4 week long let, but unfortunately did not discover this oasis until the end of our second week, otherwise we would have frequented it much more often. The Bar / Restaurant was managed with great professionalism. So much so we ate most evening throughout the remainder of our stay.Highly recommended and will return whenever we are in this region of Spain.
