We had pizza, red wine and tiramisu. My pizza was absolutely gorgeous. I had ham, chorizo, onion and cheese with chilli oil drizzled on my pizza. Tiramisu was also good. Coffee for afterwards. The place was quite busy but the waitress had everything under control.

It was my wifeâs special birthday lunch. The restaurant did us proud. We started with Serano ham and cheese with good quality cava following by some exquisite tapas.Main course chosen my each person individually from the menu was first class with fillet Steaks cooked to perfection. Following lunch we walked down to Gula for an 1886 Brandy...perfection!

I went the Marisqueria which us located in Almerimar for dinner. The waitress (nicolas) was trying to give us good attention but the food is terrible and expensive. I asked for atún with avocado but the avocado was old. Maybe ripped. Then with ordered Navajas which where no clean enough. Too much sand inside. The main course was a local fish following Nicolas recommendation as was raw and no flavour. A total disaster.

We were in the area and decided to go straight for the No.1 Tripadvisor listed restaurant as we are normally very happy with the outcome, unfortunately not this time. We normally frequent character Spanish restaurants so was apprehensive about this very modern, clean but character less bar. We ordered a caña which is normally a tube of beer but it was a small glass about 3 inches high which cost â¬2.40 we reckoned you would need 4 to make up a Tanque which would equate to â¬9.60 a Spanish pint, unheard of. The tapas were alright, nothing special and the chicken pincho with hot sauce was basically 4 bits of breaded chicken deep fried for so long I genuinely couldn't chew it, it was so dry with sweet chilli sauce on top. I did tell the waiter when he asked if everything was okay but it didn't make a difference. Russian salad OK had better, Albondigas were home made, Brocheta of goats cheese had a lovely fruity sauce but it was lukewarm and greasy. Mini burger OK but a bit miserly with the onion relish. All in all disappointed and if that is the number 1 listed restaurant then doesn't say much for the others I am afraid.

Just (some 20 km) outside Almeria
Saturday night and only one other table occupied. Disappointing, the waiter served one main course wrongly tripe instead of suckling pig. All the main courses were a reconstruction, not brilliant, lobster risotto far too salty, monk fish bland. Starters were nice and desserts ok. This use to be a classic Spanish restaurant why change?Thank you for your opinion. Sorry because of the disappointed of the waiter. We try every day be more brillant, but new trendys can not love everybody. Anyway, we have traditional main courses that you can choice next time. Trank you for visiting us
