The architectural structure from which it is named our restaurant consists of a covered walkway over the walls of the fortified town of Serra San Quirico. The restaurant rests just above "the Copertelle". The dishes prepared in our kitchen inspired as muc
Copertelle is wonderful, run by the charming Felice, it is a great place to explore the local traditional cuisine. The menus change seasonally and focus on specialities like wild asparagus and mushrooms, and truffles etc. The decor is old fashioned, but in the summer ask for one of the tables down in the original covered passageways set into the medieval wall. You'll need a walk around the pretty town center to work off the pasta!

We were advised that the antipasti were worth going for, and hefty. What an understatement! We never got beyond them. Four of us, staggering after the series of very good starters - wide variety, cooked and fresh, from baked soufflé cheese to bruschetta to crisp vegetables and cured meats. Very decent local verdicchio. A family place, we were served by two lads (twins?), one smiling, one not. There was a large birthday party on the go at the same time, filling much of the place, but service was good. And it's on a hill near Lago de Cingoli for a swim after.

A great picturesque village on top of a mountain, this is an unspoiled and quiet little town in the middle of beautiful pastures. The restaurant serves you real Italian food. The portions are big and they don't mind that you share your order. The waiters are nice and they try to help you as much as they can. The antipasti del Frate are a treat. They serve a great variety and everything we ordered was excellent. This will be defintely a restaurant to visit next time we're in the neighbourhood.

This is one incredible place. We would have eaten here both nights of our stay, had the restaurant been open both nights. We were given a heads up that there would be a huge crowd for lunch on the day of our arrival (a Sunday), but not to worry, as all would be ready for us. I could not imagine how, after serving so many for lunch, that only a few hours later, the restaurant was prepared to serve us such an enjoyable and delicious dinner. Great care is given to the execution and preparation of the dishes - the pasta (duck sauce) was particularly good - and the service was warm and professional. I recommend both staying and dining at Vittoria!

I'm a spoiled Pacific Northwest American who LOVES microbrews. After living in Cupramontana for almost 7 months now, this is my favorite place to get my hands on delicious artisan crafted beers. Whenever I want something that tastes like home, there is where I come. I haven't tried the food but heard it's good. There's also an outdoor seating area with TVs if you want to watch some good sporting events and enjoy the outdoors at the same time. The service is prompt and friendly. When they were out of the beer I had ordered they sent a conesiuer out to advise me on a second selection. Personally I find the atmosphere on the inside stale and too much like a club like for my tastes (I prefer the dark, dive bars), but it's clean. I would recommend sitting outside, it's nicer!

We went with our hosts from Casa Cantalupo on our last night in Cupramontana to this restaurant. The service was good, the food lovely but the strawberrry tiramisu out of this world. I was meant to share it, but ..... well let's say I had difficulties sharing it.

We ate at this restaurant several times and each time had a great experience and good food for a reasonable price. It can get busy at weekends so booking is advisable. They do have English menu's, but they were very patient when we tried our Italian out!

Visited a few times during our stay, especially enjoyed the pasta. The setting is great, food excellent, the service good, although one mishap on the evening of the World Cup Final when the place was really busy and one of our mains was served about 5 minutes earlier than the other. This meant a wait, and unfortunately my partners meal going a little cold as he waited for mine to be served. The staff could not apologise enough, and gave us complimentary coffee at the end of the meal. Small gestures mean a lot and are the reasons why these types of family businesses keep me going back. Try it out.
