The are many seafood restaurants in this town...and Boga-Boga comes in as the most highly recommended by my friends. It proved to be outstanding! We had the lobster and potatoes meal with garden salad with Spanish wine. They brought out homemade spreads made from the local fish to start and a great local bread. When the Lobster meal arrived it was a large 2 kg lobster from the local waters cooked with very special Spanish Potatoes. We ate tell we couldn't hold anymore! Just "finger licking" good! Price was 22 euros each for everything....a great place for lunch...go early or make a reservation. A top seafood restaurant in Cantabria....we recommend without reservations...just top draw !!

Great food! Very unassuming restaurant, but fantastic fresh food! Fish straight from the boat and the best meat selection weâve had! Highly recommend it!

I went with friends and a French couple we met the the bar. We had the house wine at the bar and it was very good local vintage. We meandered upstairs and ordered the house special for the day. It was a local white fish wrapped on ham and stuffed with something, covered with a great light cheese sauce. The meal was fantastic. If you go I would recommend the special or ask Ricardo, the owner, what he recommends. The location is on side street on the right about 1km from A-8.Enjoy

Had dinner here with wife and teenage son while on vacation in the village. Very basic and limited menu, priced appropriately. Friendly and helpful service. No hesitation in recommending it for a basic meal, particularly if one has young children in the group.

Restaurante de comida tradicional, raciones. Entorno tranquilo para visitar y zona tranquila, terraza y buen aparcamiento.
One does not notice from the outside how spacious this restaurant is. The staff is very friendly and serve great local food and correct prices. Also great place for having an evening beer or wine.

En La Espina de Pechón ofrecemos una cocina tradicional con elaboraciones modernas, acompañado de un local tranquilo que goza de unas excelentes vistas a la costa. Con esta mezcla tratamos de que su estancia sea fantástica.
I visited this restaurant with two friends, we were on our way to get the ferry from Santander and we stopped off for something to eat. I don't think I have ever been so disappointed with a meal, the meat was very fatty and seemed to me to be a cheap cut. The menu said it came with salad but realistically it came with one leaf of salad. After eating the tiny portion we left the restaurant and got food elsewhere. My friend barely touched her meal, she said it was tasteless. Avoid!!

We ate dinner at this restaurant while staying at the Camping Las Arenas in which the restaurant is located. It was a strange meal with both high and low points. The seafood was of high quality, if not quite at the very highest standards (similar sauces with each dish). However, the kids were disappointed to learn that the pizzas were unavailable due to the oven being broken, only to see pizzas arriving at the next table barely 20 minutes later (after we had ordered alternative dishes). A fish of the day was well received, but the steak less so (overly "chewy") and desserts were also disappointing. Overall not a bad meal in a wonderful location overlooking the river beach, but it could have been so much better.

Family dinner outing started with warm welcome and menus in Spanish and English. Croquettes to share for the kids along with some excellent regional starters the highlight being the house speciality "casa marisa" squid. Massive portions for starters so most were unable to finish but brave attempts made by all. Main courses continued with the enormous portions proving the value for money is not just lip service. Beef and veal steaks are wonderful and the local livestock must be well fed as were we. Highlight for this course was the leg of lamb with a simple salad. Deliciously simple. Kids portions are also huge as 2 of the kids just shared 1 handmade burger and were stuffed after it. Deserts were lovely and the caramelised rice pudding(served cold) was an absolute winner. 3 courses for 5 adults & 3 kids including 2 bottles of vino, 2 beers and several soft drinks was only â¬185!! Awesome food for awesome prices, would recommend to everyone.

Typical Gastronomic space Astur-Cantabrian. Craftsmen High quality products, typical home-made daily dishes, many tortos, meats grilled, homemade desserts, a variety of asturian and cantabrian cider.
I Discovered this restaurant by coincidence and was very curieus for the matured meat they were serving Tudanca... so two days later I visited the restaurant ... the waitress invited me to take place in the back of the restaurant because there was some noise made by the carpenters... I assumed they were finishing ... it was 20:30 h and evening shift was starting ... Great meal ... delicious meat ... fantastic service and good wine ... But throughout the meal I could not even talk to my company ... impossible to have a good conversation with a great meal ... made a comment on it.. no reaction... carpenters kept on working... bill .. not even a discount for a free glass of wine or free coffee ... I agree Some works need to be done but this can be done on closing days or during siësta ... Little respect for customers ! Slightly disappointed.Thank you very much for your visit Stippel. We regret that you had to suffer this isolated case. So far, the afternoons and nights we were forced to close we did but on this occasion, it was assumed that the task carried out by the carpenters was not going to be so appreciable. Again, please excuse us and leave it in isolated case. For us, you, client and friend, once they enter our doors ..., together with the Quality of our products, they`re come first. Therefore, we hope to see you again soon and that your experience is fully satisfactory. A greeting from the entire Human Team of Los Toneles.
