Popped into this little gem of a place last weekend and was greeted by a kind-hearted and sweet man with a big smile on his face. His sincere and genuine nature really attracted me to him. The food here is delicious and great, several different types of fish available for variety of taste. Would definitely return :)

We dined with friends and we had been prepared for a great experience and we weren’t disappointed! The host “welcomed us home”, provided us with rose water to wash our hands and was attentive throughout the evening. Our meals were delicious and one of our party has many allergies so his meal was brilliantly catered for! This BYO restaurant is a real gem. We would revisit in a flash!

Sunday Lunch. Location great (ocean views). Atmosphere was wonderful. Cleanliness excellent, Ambience excellent, Staff friendly and helpful, Ambience Good, Service timely. Ordered:(1) Fish Tacos (Very Tasty)(2) Kingfish Ceviche (Superb)(3) Scallop & Pork Belly (Superb)(4) Halloumi Baklava (Beautiful)(5) Chicken Thigh Skewers (Juicy & well flavoured)(6) Salt and Pepper Squid (as good as any others I have had)Overall, a lovely meal which deserves the rating I have given it. All of us left very satisfied and impressed. Thanks for dining with us and thanks for the kid review, WRLAustralia! We love the view over to the beach; it never becomes tiresome. The surf, the sand, the people watching, combine that with a good selection of food and perhaps a cheeky cocktail, beer and/or glass wine and it's a happy lunch! If I'm ever eating with yourself then I'd be more than happy to leave the ordering to you! That's a roll-call of some of my favourites, and some of our most popular, dishes. The fish tacos are constantly leaving the kitchen, scallops and pork belly are a match made in heaven (how good is that sweet corn puree?!) and the ceviche is a surprisingly filling. The haloumi baklava is a reasonably new addition to the menu but has fast become favourite (along with its equally delicious friend, lamb baklava).Hopefully we will see you and your friends again soon!

Had a beautiful afternoon with my wife. The setting overlooking Freshie beach is magnificent. The degustation menu superb. Chicken involtini was my favourite though other courses were close.Matching Italian/Sardinian wines were well-considered though not all hits. Good friendly service. Top marks

MINT Lebanese Cuisine

I was in Collaroy on business and I was feeling peckish. Across the road I spotted Mint Lebanese Cuisine. I looked at the menu on the board outside then looked inside the small restaurant. It was sparkling clean and tidy, so I went in.I ordered a Lebanese bread wrap with lamb and falafel. It was delicious, but so large that I wrapped up half and took it away with me to eat later.Great food! Great value!

Livoti's

With Italian heritage, even our kids came to this restaurant hard to please. Livoti’s exceeded expectations in terms of flavour. Unfortunately we weren’t offered the list of specials, and I only noticed when I went to the counter to pay at the end, that we would have ordered additional food from the specials menu, had we had known.Only negative was one of the staff stood near our table chatting to people they knew and dropped the f bomb a few times. My 6 year old thought it was funny, although my mother certainly didn’t.Attempted to return again tonight for dinner, but discovered they are closed on Sundays.Looking forward to returning, I am sure we will become regulars.

The atmosphere is good, but that’s the only plus.we Had a share plate to start which contained frozen friend polenta hash brown dried apricots olives Berlin’s and French bread- so disappointing My main was steak but it was so peppery I couldn’t even taste it. Chips were goodAnd we waited ages for plates to be cleared and were never asked if we wanted coffee or desert so got fed up of waiting.Sorry guys at $33 a mason, this was really under averageHi Wendy,Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback. We have sent you a private message to get a better insight on your experience and where we fell short. This was particularly disheartening for our hard working chefs who make the polenta scagliozza in house from scratch and take great pride in each dish that is sent out. In regard to the $33 mason was this in regard to a main meal or steak? Please reach out when possible so we can improve upon this experience and get you back in for a meal on us!
