During August, it seems that the whole of Friuli is either closed, or fully booked. Not so La Torre, where we ended up for lunch. What a whole lot of luck too. This was outstanding. The Service extremely friendly. When I wanted to order a house White Wine, the waiter opened a new bottle of excellent sauvignon, Fernanda Capello. Since it tasted so great, he left the bottle on the table. Smart man! I recommend the Sauvignon Blanc and a visit too, ist not far from Spilimbergo. And then the Food arrived. Ravioli in a Sauce of caramelized onions, roast Beef on a bed of crispy roasted potatoes and branzino meditterrano. Highly recommended. And as desert the ubiquitous Tiramisu came with a Special presentation as well. Excellent.Many thanks for this amazing review we hope see you again

This place in outstanding for tasting the original Prosciutto San Daniele. We have tried it with some locals and I had no words...incredible. Service has been quick, prices good, alternatives to prosciutto were also very good - from a risotto with mushrooms to tagliatelle con ovoli. A little gem that, behind a simple face, offers very good food close to the Duomo. Do not miss it!

The environment is beautiful, the service is awesome. We took prosciutto seasoned 24 months and 36. The last one was pretty good but I'm sure in San Daniele I can find a better one. Burrata was amazing but focaccia was Average. What disappointed the most was the main course. I took pasta with prosciutto crudo and my wife with trout. They were with full of cream and you couldn't enjoy the real flavour. Imho it is unacceptable in Italy in 2016 to put cream inside pasta. It was really hard to finish the plate because its heaviness. I gave 3 stars but the real vote is 3.5.

Good menu with a particularly extensive selection of pizza. The classics cost about 7 or 8 euros, while the specials are 13 to 15 euros. Not much difference in size but the more expensive ones come with some ingredients on the side, so that your toppings taste fresher. Nice outside seating and, unusually for Italy, it is air conditioned inside.This restaurant is not in the city centre, and actually is in Baseglia. It is about 1.5 km north of Via Maniago on SP1 (Via Ugo Foscolo)

Back from a flying day at Meduno on a paragliding trip we stopped at this tiny restaurant on the way. While watching the world cup we had the best meal of the trip.We started with antipasto, cheeses, prosciuto, and salami. Then we had pasta or rizzoto, both were delicious. We thought that that was all, when we were offered the main course, but nobody could order it. We shared desserts like tiramisu and panna cotta and ended with a glass of grappa. Teodora and her husband were excellent hosts.Che gran piacere ricevere la sua recensione, gentilissimo, la ringraziamo tanto!! Per noi é un immenso piacere la vostra visita, la vostra compagnia ma, soprattutto, potervi lasciare un buon ricordo, facendovi sentire come a casa.Grazie ancora, speriamo di rivederla presto, saluti da Ferdinando, Dorina e MarÃa.

We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant and I would really like to recommend it, especially because it's serving authentic Jordanian cuisine. Good food and great hospitality, definitely an evening to remember. We particularly enjoyed the starters and the main dish of rice and meat. Very generous portions and fresh ingredients. They have an exceptional attention to customers' needs and cater for people with food intolerances.Thank you for a lovely evening!

Go here. Two things to do when in San Daniele in Friuli and one is hungry...eat the prosciutto and the tagliolini alla San Daniele. One thing to note is that the restaurants have their own supplier of prosciutto. Tancredi not only has a supplier of San Daniele's best, but they make the ABSOLUTE best tagliolini alla San Daniele (linguini-like pasta with the prosciutto in a cream sauce) . If you like something "fishy" yet delicate, their baccalà Vicentino is nothing but exquisite. Their house red, a Merlot, is smooth, suttle, and to finish off their home made cakes, such as torta alle mele is divine. Bravi, anzi, bravissimi.

Dear Monica in front of house and her brother Federico are following in the footsteps of their parents. Bring your best possible appetite for the most spectacular florentine steaks- this side of florence ! Vegetarian- no problem, and great fish on request. To say my wife and I love this place is an understatement in life.
