We've been going here since they opened. The food is excellent. The Mediterranean nachos are different and worth a try. The lentil soup is my favorite. All of the sandwiches... sides, salads are fresh. This is a not cooking today favorite. They have specials for lunch and $5 wrap days. Service is always pleasant and efficient.

Had a chance to stop in to Kabob Hut 2 for the first time to grab a quick takeout. This place is by far some of the best Mediterranean food I've had. I ordered a medium chicken Fattoush salad. The salad I received was big enough to feed at least 2 people all for under $8. The way they prepare their chicken is phenomenal. The salad also came with a side of garlic sauce and pita bread. There was so much food I couldn't finish it all. The restaurant itself is very clean. There is enough seating for I would guess maybe 30 people inside. The staff and owner are very friendly. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you enjoy hearty portions at great prices! Located at the northwest corner of 21/Gratiot.

We noticed a new place opened up in a small strip mall and has an interesting name, Cleopatra and decided to try it for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised as to the varity of dishes offered and the focus on southern Mediterranean food. There are a number of traditional Egyptian dishes listed, so we focused on them and were not disappointed, even the next day. They offer a selection of smoothies and fresh juices. Portions are ample and we shared appetizers and an entree with soup, lamb vegetable. They offer a selection of great interesting appetizers, salads, traditional dishes, seafood, vegetarian, chicken, lamb, sandwiches, and combo dishes.
