Things to do in Chelsea
We pop into Sharwarma Style at least a couple times a month and I am never disappointed. Their meat is always moist and tasty and they have great garlic sauce and hummus. My favourite thing they do is that they fry up some pita until they are really crispy then put them in your Sharwarma or on your platter. Love it! Simple menu that has everything you could need. The owners are always so friendly and polite. I look forward to every visit.

Fairouz is a Middle East inspired upscale casual restaurant that showcases the ingredients, flavours, and recipes of authentic Middle Eastern cuisine in a service-focused environment with modern touches. The pita bread is also made fresh to order. We prid
Leave behind your pre-formed ideas of middle eastern food - Fairouz goes in a fresh, creative direction, while retaining the flavors you love.Situated in a cozy old home, on a lively street of former residences now populated by restaurants, Fairouz is an off-the-beaten path stand out in Canada's capital. Sumac chicken, stuffed artichoke and fried cauliflower are a among the stars here -- but there are not bit players. Everything is great.

Mere words aren't enough to describe the Resto Bistro Rumeur situated in the Hotel V in Gatineau. The word "contemporary" lacks force and "modern" doesn't say enough. "Hot" is short of the mark. Let's just say that this spot is a distinctive combination o
We were tired, after a long drive, and various activities, and so we've decided to take one for the team, and eat at the restaurant of the hotel we were staying in (this restaurant is located inside Hotel V). This turned out to be a great decision, as the food was amazing, the service was great, and given that this is a lobby hotel, it wasn't too expensive. Be ready for a long wait for the food, as it is cooked from scratch. If you are there with kids, make sure to ask to bring their food first. In the morning, we've decided not to reinvent the wheel, and had breakfast there - one of the best omelettes I've had in a while. Definite repeat.

Welcome to Aroma Small Plates and Wine. The first of its kind in Canada! Come and enjoy "Meze" the food that reflects the way of life in Greek culture. Meze...an eating style, ancient in origin, favored in Greece and the Mediterranean. It is where eating
The meze formula really worked for us, with a succession of small but beautifully cooked sharing dishes. What a good way to solve the all too common problem of 'super-size me' portions! It was very busy when I visited and service was a little slow, but very friendly and personal. We were impressed to be offered a complimentary extra dish when I ordered something my partner did not like.Although each dish is small, we found five dishes plus a desert was plenty enough for two.The absence of Musak was another plus. The only minor gripe I had was that the stark decor meant the restaurant room became rather noisy with conversation when it was full.

A hidden treasure on the island of Hull The Quai St-Raymond is renowned for its fish and seafood. It is thanks to their Chef Christopher De Sousa who knows how to combine the cuisine of the terroir with his Portuguese origins like no other. Looking for a
I was quite impressed by the quality of the food. Fresh beef tartare, great seafood pasta and duck confit were all very good. Prices are fair for quality of food.Settings are very nice even though restaurant is located in strange building. Service was a little bit more casual then expected but nothing too bad.

I ordered a chicken from this restaurant for lunch today. From the latest reviews I was really expecting better. My salad consisted of some shredded Romain, carrot, red cabbage, onion, 3 sad olives and feta cubes. There were no cucumbers, tomato or "Greek" flavorings of any type. It was plain olive oil dressing. Really dismal. The chicken wasn't bad but I was really dry. I was going to use the tzatziki sauce to make it more palatable but they put DILL in it - that's all I tasted.. Not even a single cucumber shaving.. It was yogurt and dill.. That's it. The potatoes tasted like they were sitting in vinegar. Very soft/soggy. Not at all what I was hoping for - I love Greek lemon potatoes.. Not these. It's fine if you're hungry but this isn't even close to "the best" I would give it more of an "adequate"

Everything written on TA about this place is spot on. There is no direct parking but for the shipping mall across the street. The entrance is unassuming inconspicuous and uninspiring. Once you get past this, you will be overwhelmed by the friendliness, the menu and the taste of the food. Authentic, tasty, spicy Piri Piri chicken, great fries, salad, fish dishes. And oh so reasonable in price. Go! You will not be disappointed. Obrigado. Thanks

When in the area, this is my go-to place for a nutritious, great tasting shawarma made to order. On a Friday night there is a whole crowd there
