Terra di Just is a gourmet shop to explore together the traditions, products and flavors of our territory. Aperitifs, wines and sandwiches.
Nice place for lunch - small inside area, but most seating on the terrace outside. Lovely staff, who will make any sandwich for around 4-5 Euros. 3 or 4 breads available, around 10 cheese and similar meat choices. Ingredients simple, fresh and full of flavour.

This family run business continues to provide high quality homemade local cuisine. Although quite a meat orientated menu they met the needs of two vegetarians. Food cooked well with good quality ingredients and served in a friendly informal manner. This Osteria continues to be one of my go-to places for a good, relaxing meal with friends.

This is a small osteria located in a small unnamed street off Via Orto Nannavecchia. Placed in a semi-cellar buildt in stone with vaulted ceilings. The food is local produced and homemade. The antipasti is tasty and come in great numbers. And the bill is
62 euros all in for two and we ordered the Most expensive bottle at 22 euro a bottle. Anti pasta was great and significant so best to share. Orecchiette with meat sauce was very good. Mixed grill tempting and grilled pork quite good. Nice ambiance, good service amazing value and just off the main square.

Typical and elegant restaurant decorated with old and elegant dressings and with a big fire place in the middle. Flowering garden with wooden veranda in summertime.
I have been visiting this restaurant for over 30 years. At the beginning it was Angelo, and, after his premature passing, it was the turn of his talented daughters Antonella and Rossella. For me this place is not just an eatery, it is a destination in itself. In recent years my visits became rare, partly due to the fact that my stays in the Region became less frequent, and partly due to the success of this restaurant, which made it more difficult to find a table at short notice. But my affection for the place remained undiminished. When I finally came back, I realised that it had been 7 years since my last meal there. But the character of the place had not changed in the slightest, with the immaculately dressed table well spread around the beautiful courtyard.Rossella is in charge of the service, as hospitable and accommodating as ever. She is there to help you to make your choices, and would do her best to answer to all of your queries. Although there is also a âtasting menuâ option, she would be glad to accommodate some slight variations on request. The quality of the food and the wine remains high, and prices are perfectly commensurate to the quality of the offer. However, in all frankness, I have also to voice some concern. While Antonella and her Mauritian-born husband Vinod deliver excellent food, I am at a loss at understanding in which direction they are going. Marrying the Pugliese âterroirâ with oriental spices and flavours can be a daunting task, and it is inevitable to take some risks. Being a well-travelled diner, my judgement is not marred by dogmatism or conservatism, and indeed I like to be surprised with creative preparations. But here in some instances I had the impression that the spices were covering (rather than enhancing) the flavour of the local ingredients. And this seems to go against the unquestionable strength of the place: the ability of marrying tradition with creativity, without spoiling the authentic flavours of the terroir. All this said, I sincerely wish Antonella and Vinod to find their way towards a second Michelin star. Perhaps the right balance is still to be achieved, but something tells me that they will get there!

Enococus, in the historical center of Ceglie Messapica, itâs the Steakhouse from the ancient qualities that you were looking for! A place where a convivial atmosphere and the quality of the dishes are harmoniously mixed. The menu is specialized in meats a
TripAdvisor led us to this restaurant. After 10 days of pizzas, pasta and seafood indulgences, we decided to have a good steak for a change. After touring the typical sites in Puglia today: Polignano, Alberobello and Locorotondo, we intended to visit Ostuni for dinner. TripAdvisor flagged up this restaurant and we booked via its Facebook link. We got a reply within minutes and we were all set.The surprise came when it was not in Ostuni, but quite a distance away. Since we hired a car, it was no trouble at all. It turned out to be a brilliant bit of luck. The welcome was warm, the food was just amazing. Great care was taken with the fantastic ingredients. The T-bone steak was sourced locally and cooked to perfection. We were given a complementary glass of Prosecco upon arrival. The âbisteccaâ for two was right for two hungry tourists. We also had a steak tartare that was just superb.Although English was a little bit of a barrier, the hosts were so welcoming and they made every effort to please their guests and all done with a smile.Bravo and Grazie Mille!

Ok the food was fairly standard but we had a lovely night here. Nice setting out in the street and incredibly friendly service made what could have been an ordinary meal into something much more special.

Tucked away in a back street, this busy little restaurant offers great local food without frills. Love that you enter virtually through the kitchen. Very warm and friendly, and good value.

Chanced on this restaurant when everywhere else seemed to be closed. A simple, family, restaurant but the food was extremely good and prepared by people who cared. So, not in the "great meal" category but certainly makes it onto our "very good lunch" list! Great value too.

This cosy little Restaurant stems from Pia and Stefano's wish to give life a comfotable place where you will breathe a multicultural atmosphere. It is the messapian spirit meeting world cultures so as to create a special bond, where what matters is gettin
This is an average restaurant in terms of Ceglie Messapica as unremarkable against many others. Nothing different except for the owner. We couldn't get rid of him! we got his entire life story, his time in the navy, how he met his German wife, where he has been, drone drone drone..... the food was average and a little overpriced for the area.Dear Mr./Mrs. "Paripatetic " I must have been impressed because she remembers me after 7 months. I am very sorry if I was intrusive, but I thought the discussion was mutual. I Didn't seem annoyed and talked about travel, you too are great travelers.Either way I'm very sorry, and I apologize, even if the judgement is a bit harsh.Excuse me for my English, I apologize again, we sailors like the conversation. Finally, I wish you, always, calm sea and wind from the stern!! With sympathy, Stephen.... The Sailor!

We had a wonderful lunch at Mehta. The chef, served several âAmuse Boucheâ items and a glass of sparkling Rosé before we ordered. He took a lot of time explaining the source and preparation of each dish. Being in Martina Franca, itâs unlikely they will ever win a Michelin Star, but they certainly deserve one. It was fantastico!
