We initially decided to try this restaurant as we were staying in the adjacent hotel and were pleasantly surprised by the service, atmosphere and quality of the food which resulted in a further two visits during our holiday in nearby Carpentras.Firstly I personally found the quality of the food to be very good indeed and in fact one of the best places I have eaten during many years of visiting the region. I personally chose the mixed grill brochettes of beef, duck and chicken which were so good that I repeated the same order on my next visit followed by the apple crumble desert. On my final visit I tried the duck orange which was very tender with very little fat and followed with the cafe gourmand which is a sample of all the deserts on the menu. The service and welcome we received from the owners was superb and this remained consistent throughout our visits to the restaurant. On one evening the region was hit with a really bad storm meaning eating outside was impossible which caused some seating issues inside the restaurant when we arrived. I was so impressed when all the staff rallied round to sort out internal seating arrangements for us and other guests whilst also tending to a very busy restaurant. This initially impacted on the service and our initial drink order was not taken for about 25 minutes but we were sympathetic to the situation caused by the weather. On our final visit we were remembered by the owners who thanked us for our patience during the storm on our previous visit (a nice personal touch). All in all a very pleasant experience with superb service and quality food at very reasonable prices and I will not hesitate in dining there again on our next visit to the region. Not an extensive menu but with sufficient choice to accommodate most people and I suppose the best compliment is evidence of regular returning local customers.

Small bistro serving high quality, house made dishes from fresh and local ingredients. Sober and modern decor. Air Condition
This is a pretty new restaurant in L'isle. It was very hot the day we were there so we sat in the dining room, air conditioned for comfort. The food is beautifully prepared with the flavours of Provence used to great effect. Food bursting with flavour such as Cavaillon melon for starter and chicken with a lovely risotto and nougat glace to finish. Great. Service was excellent, all in all first class.

Lovely secret location, in an old townhouse, on the banks of the Sorgue. Waterfront wine bar with flower-filled internal courtyard for summer dining or fireplace for the winter, with exposed stone décor and unique, intimate atmosphere. Cosy and luxury com
We have tried a few restaurants in the town and I think that this is probably the best. Lovely central location and cool interiors with river running under the floor in glass. We had the middle menus around 30 and had some lovely food and lovely amuse bouche. Thought the foie gras was a little too cold and was the weakest dish. I had pastry encrusted chicken which was really superb

My family and I went to O Gastos for lunch during a stay in Provence. We were the worst customers- we got lost and arrived a half hour after our booking, none of us could speak French, we had a crying baby and a restless toddler and we took an eternity to decide what to eat and drink. The waiter was just wonderful, endlessly patient and perfectly happy to translate to help us order. He got the toddler a quick kids meal as soon as we got in to help her settle and made sure there was room for the pram to settle the baby. The food was presented superbly and tasted fantastic. As an Australian I'm very picky about my lamb- here it was fall off the bone perfection. The price for the set menu was very reasonable. Next time we visit Provence we will be back (on time and with calmer children I hope)!Bonjour.Merci pour votre bel avis. Cela nous fait très plaisir d'avoir pu vous satisfaire. En espérant vous revoir au restaurant . Bien cordialement.Toni

We had lunch twice at LâEnvol and on both occasions everything about the experience was superb. Sarah is a fantastic maitre dâ who provides excellent service. The restaurant offers great value for money as they do a lunch menu for 16 euros which includes a main course, dessert and coffee. We have been so impressed with lunch weâre going for dinner next week. You have to visit this restaurant!!!

We have dined at this Restaurant about 10 times for lunch and evening meals and the quality of the food is excellent. The proprietor Jerome is a friendly and attentive host who understands the importance of customer satisfaction.

We stayed in Chateauneuf De Gadagne for 4 days to attend a family wedding and as there was little choice of restaurants within teh village, we chose this as our last night meal venue with another family member and were surprisingly pleased by our experience. We had booked early evening on a Sunday and were shown to a great table on teh outside terrace with wonderful views out over teh village and towards Avignon. Service was efficient and friendly, teh menu offered a great variety from a la carte meat and fish dishes as well as pizza specials. We chose the a la carte. Wine was reasonably priced and can recommend their local Rose. All the food was beautifully presented and tasted very good. I would not hesitate to return to Le Bistrot De La Pastiere if we are ever in teh area again. thank you for a lovely last night in CdG.

Good food although not as good as last year The excellent variety of bread no longer served - the food was high quality although perhaps lacking strong sources and distinct flavours of the region - a matter of personal style rather than qualityVery good children's menu and friendly service Superb dining room and lovely locationthank you for your good opinion!hope to see you next year, and i hope our new menu get your approvehave a nice year

you can only dine here at Au Gusto if you give chef Emmanuel enough notice so that he can discuss your food choices and so that he can see what is fresh in the market! I have very specific dietary requirements which were more than matched at each of our delicious meals. Personal service from a marvellous chef in a magical setting

Food was attractively presented but for me was style over substance. For instance I had the carpaccio of octopus which looked really nice but was a bit bland to eat.The restaurant has very nice views but I think parking a car nearby can be tricky if you're not there early.
