We went to Andante Allegro Vivace on the recommendation of a friend from Cartagena.It is located in the center and convenient. The owner/chef lived in Italy for 15 years and speaks fluent and accent-less Italian (my partner is Italian). The food reflects his time in Italy, as well the local ingredients. We shared an octopus carpaccio and then a seafood platter -- all with fresh local seafood.We were very happy with the experience and would happily return!

We stopped in for lunch, after Jesus approached us. We had excellent Mojitoâs. My wife had a vegetable salad to start. It was good. She also had the vegetable rice for the main...delicioso! I had fried calamari to start, which was good and the shrimp rice for the main. It was really good. The restaurant was cool and quiet with local music playing. Jesus answered all of our questions and was really cool to talk to. Make sure and check this place out. We will definitely come back, when we visit again.

This little hidden gem is fantastico. Diego is amazing as is his staff with presentation of the food and knowledge. We were welcomed so kindly and was introduced to many different wines along with the history and paring to the dishes offered. The music choice by Diego is also fantastic. So, Diego's olives are no less than Amazing!!! I am still craving them. We brought some friends we met in Cartagena who also enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The highlight is how humble Diego is and how much care he respresents of this amazing establishment. Thank you Diego & staff for a beautiful experience in fine wines and beautiful food with great pricing. I will be back!!!!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating for a gringo thatâs Spanish is very poor. I ordered a recommended house speciality according to the menu. âseafood grillâ, I added the lobster for an additional cost. The lobster was not fresh, mushy and no flavor, the octopus was tough, calamari was okay and the fish fillet nice, but overall disappointing. Dear customer, We are deeply sorry that your time with us wasn't up your expectations. Cannot recommend Las Indias Boutique Gourmet enough! Manager Laureano is wonderfully welcoming and clearly passionate about food, giving detailed information about each dish to ensure you get exactly what you want, and the restaurant itself has a laid back ambiance. I had the prawn cocktail to start, the whole fish and yucca for main, and my friend and I shared the caramelised mango for dessert, even though the first two dishes were definitely filling enough. The sangria was also on point! Iâm generally someone that likes to try a new restaurant every day when I visit new places, but if we were in Cartagena longer, I would definitely have eaten here again. Muchas gracias, Laureano! This place is my favourite find in Cartagena! Incredible kebabs with amazing flavours - so worth the money. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough. A wee bit out of the way but definitely worth the journey. Fresh, full of flavour and so filling.

Very small, charming "Taperia" close to the wall and Hotel Charleston. The family run place uses homemade ingredients, daily made fresh. I believe, people that travel, should understand the concept of a Taperia, which are several smaller apetizers, in this palce, usually on a bread. As alternative, they serve real other typical spanish plate, which is Seafood Paella. During my stay in Cartagena, I went 5 times and all tapas were delicious and very reasonably priced, as quality can not be super cheap. Very sympathetic athmosphere created by the owners. I will be back for sure.
